    I don't understand the hitlisting.

it says that the more income you have the more expensive it is to place a hit on you...I have all the properties I'm able to get almost all at level 4 and it costs people 300 million to place a hit on me.

when I try to put a hit on other people the same level as me it costs 3 billion! how did they get theirs so high when mine is so low?

  2. upkeep affects it as well

Level 300 is a point where bounties vary a lot. Below level 300 the bounty cost formula works one way, and after it works another.

While I know not how it exactly works for the early levels, all I can tell you about it is that their cost increases A LOT when that person's chain-listed.

However, after level 300 your cost will be fifteen times your income (after upkeep) plus a 75% each time you get listed, meaning that if your base is 400 millions, the second bounty will be worth 700 millions, the third 1 billion and so on.

that clears it up a bit...I'm also baffled as to why some people my level cost 50 million to set a booby trap while others cost 250 million...also I multiplies my net income...(the gross minus the upkeep)

and 15 times that would be over 400 million. but when I got hitlisted my bounty was only 300 million. so I think it's less than 15 times

Booby trap cost's normally half the bounty cost, however, it will drop a lot if you get listed a lot by the person you want to booby trap.

DonĀ“t forget the game takes away 25% of what anyone actually pays for you... So if you cost 400 million to list, then your bounty cost will be 25% less than that (300 million).

The hitlist cost on your profile is the "Base" cost; that someone will have to pay to place a hit on you. If you are bountied multiple times your cost will go up. The player who places the hit on your pays that cost but the money that is given to the player who claims the bounty is less (we take a fee off that hit price).

ty, for the reply..how do they figure the cost of a counterattack/ambush?
usually it costs me like 6 million for the first one and then 12 million for the next etc.......

but sometimes I go to ambush someone and it costs 200 million for the first hit!

Ambush pricing is based off of cashflow (income-upkeep) and strength between two players. If the player placing the ambush is a greater level, the cost is based more on the greater of the two cashflows ( between the 2 players ).

Discounts are given if your opponent has attacked more and price is increased if you have attacked more. Again, this only applies to when you are attacked through a fight. Punches and hits are not counted.

Attack counts between players are reset if there is 24 hours of inactivity (no attacks). Note that ambushes already set are never reset or removed. Price is also increased if multiple ambushes are set on the same person.

Base ambush costs are capped at your opponent's hitlist price (before discounts/increases).

Successful ambushes count as an attack against your opponent.
