Hiya, hope Im in the right place to ask this. When I try to send anything in VC (and PC), my comp hangs. Forever. This is a new development and not too sure whether its FB or my laptop? Is anyone else having this problem? Thank you
I have a similar issue, the pc doesn't hang or crash but the screen that loads the gift confirmation page just loads forever, I'm using firefox 6 and it started just after the upgrade from firefox 5
I dunno if this will work for you...was having the same problem. only a handful of clan I couldn't send gifts to. try sending them the second or third choice on their wish list. hope this helps
IE 8 Is blocking the gift sending because of content with security certificate errors. It's been this way for me all day.
update : There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website has expired or is not yet valid. This is even Before I get into Viking Clan so it must be a Facebook problem.
I have a similar issue in myspace, if I try to send a gift, wether I have the myspace site in the popup instead of the giftsending window, or it loads and loads and loads without end. Sometimes it works. Besides I have issues to load the game itself, most of the time I have the myspace side instead of the game and it gives me an error message: Oups ! Une erreur s'est produite… Désolé, mais une erreur s'est probablement produite dans notre système ou la page que tu as demandée n'est actuellement pas disponible. Si tu as mal saisi l'adresse, réessaye. Sinon, pars à la découverte de notre offre -- musique, films, jeux, célébrités, et bien plus encore.
Another update: Make sure your system's date and time are correct. I don't want to share my temporary lack of intelligence but my system's date had been changed due to me having to clear my CMOS. I forget to set it back causing the certificate errors that made the game hang when sending gifts etc. Everything's working ok now with the exception of being too many pop up boxes to click in to send gifts.
