Can anyone tell me how can someone thats level 3700 bounty someone thats level 344 but when I try to bouty some thats a level 350 I get the message that the player is out of my XP range? And no the level 344 player did not attack the level 3700 player first.
anyone over level 300 is bountyable by any level pretty much. i agree its strange if your unable to bounty someone in the same level tier as you
somehow I'm getting the impression that level 344 isn't the OP. for clarity: Player A = OP Player B = lvl 344 Player C = 3700 Player A is likely in a guild with Player B, and Player C is bountying the weakest/cheapest players in the guild. This would explain the third person narrative used in the Original Post. As for not being able to bounty somebody lvl 350, don't know what to tell you. Anyone can list you once you reach level 300, and it's pretty much as warlock says, lots of people pick on faction newbies (I am one of those newbies myself on VC) just because they don't have the balls to mess with people of their size.
once X amount of time has passed, 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-12 hours. Bounty stops being available. re-bounty would cost same as if bounty had been successful..
i seen someone on list for over a day(or close to it)so they stay till someone knocks em off if thats not what you mean then explain further please
nope, that's exactly what I meant. now I'm debating if I'm actualy stupid enough to try to take that bounty, inspite of that account being 5x my level.....
No there isn't. Some of the high levels see how long they can hang on there. Atheistic Eddiebot currently holds the record of longest I've ever heard of someone surviving there....oh and I'm just waiting for her to give me the ok to take her down.
I guess I did not make it clear but yes there is a weaker player in my guild that has been bountied by a person with a much higher XP level. I have tried to bounty people and I get that they are out of my XP. Why is it that a level 3700 person can bounty someone that is level 340 even when the level 340 person has not attacked the higher level player?
Anyone who is above level 300 can be listed by anyone. A level 8000 player could list a level 301. But a level 305 player CANT list a 299
you can list down up to 50% of your level but of course level 300 is magic level where set the traps and get a high income
your question was already answered, we've moved on to other topics under the heading of "bounties" so that this thread wouldn't go to waste. and to be nice, Athiestic Satanist answered your question in the post immediately following your original post, I paraphrase now. An account with level equal to or greater than 300 may be bountied by anyone. To place a Bounty, there need be No instigating event. That you can't place a bounty on somebody level 300 or higher, whom you are sure isn't currently dead and you are using the bounty button, not the attack button is strange and should be brought to support. Anymore questions?? Or can we go back to if I'm stupid enough to take an unrequested 24 hour break from VC in a likely vain attempt to claim a 2T bounty? too much??
Anyone who is over a minimum level (300) can be bountied by any players at any level. If you are below that level, then players who are less than 2 times your level can bounty you (example I am level 50, I can only be bountied by players who are level 100 or less). If the lower level does not retaliate, then that higher level player cannot attack. If a lower level attacks an out of range higher level player, they will be up for attack until either the higher level kills them or the 24-hr retaliation window expires.
