[All] bosses weaknesses

    been a while since i have made a thread, but the ideas just arent poping in my head like they use to lol.

    so only the lower level bosses have weaknesses and this idea is to adress that, because it seems like a forgoten element in the game. i forgot about it as well lol. so how about adding weakness items to all bosses and as the boss gets stroinger the stronger and more usefull the items become against the boss. or there could be stages to where the weakness item evolves in a sence where once you unlock an achievement for the boss the weakness item gets stronger.

    Example-

    you kill the lvl 1 boss get the achievement for killing it and you unlock the first weakness items for it

    you get the kill a lvl 5 achievement for that boss and you unlock the second weakness item for it

    you get the kill a lvl 10 achievement for that boss and you unlock the third weakness item for it

    you get the kill a lvl 20 achievement for that boss and you unlock the 4th and final weakness item for it because that is all the items you are aloud to carry.

    but there are still 2 more achievements and here is what would happen when you unlock them-

    you get the kill a lvl 35 achievement for that boss and what happens then is the weakness items double in strength(only double the weakness deffence and strength added to item while fighting the boss)

    then you unlock the final achievement for killing the lvl 50 version of it and the items double in strength again(only double the weakness deffence and strength added to item while fighting the boss)

    example boss and boss weakness items-

    place: Tartarus
    boss: Kronos

    items-

    Zeus's lightning(weapon) 50 atc 50 def
    hell hound(weapon) 75 atc 30 def
    Zeus follower(mayte) 65atc 40 def
    ghost clipper(ship) 125 atc 95 def

    weakness boosts-

    Zeus's lightning: bofore lvl 35 achievement +75atc/def---------total at this time would be 125 atc/def
    after lvl 35 achievement +150 atc/def---------------------------------total at this time would be 200 atc/def
    after lvl 50 achievement +300 atc/def----------------------------------total at this time would be 350atc/def

    hell hound: before lvl 35 achievement +80atc +70def-------total at time would be 155atc and 100 def
    after lvl 35 achievement +160 atc +140def----------------------total at time would be 235atc and 170 def
    after lvl 50 achievement +320 atc +280 def--------------------total at time would be 395 atc and 310 def

    zeus follower: before lvl 35 achievement +60atc +90--------total at time would be 125atc and 130 def
    after lvl 35 achievement +120 atc +180 def---------------------total at time would be 165 atc and 220 def
    after lvl 50 achievement +240 atc and 360 def-----------------------------total would be 305atc and 400 def

    ghost clipper: before lvl 35 achievement +110atc/def-----------total at time would be 235atc and 205 def
    after lvl 35 achievement +220atc def--------------------------------------------total would be 345 atc and 315 def
    after lvl 50 achievement +440 atc/def---------------------------------------------total would be 565atc and 535def

    so that is the basis of the whole idea and in doing this kano could then release more boss kill achievements that people would actually be able to get. they would still be difficult but they would be alot easier. the numbers i posted here are for an example to help understand what this about everybody.

    if anybody has any questions dont hesitate to ask i will be glad to answer the best i can and help clear up any confusion that you might have about this idea and as always this idea is subject to change and will be like i treat my other ideas

    EDIT:
    the bosses weakness items are a drop from the boss they wouldnt be rare but not common sortof inbetween. they would be rewarded only after the boss has been killed and would be a random one if you so happen to be lucky enough to get it. you would only be able to have 1 of this item. you could sell it and re-earn the item from the boss again but only able to hold a maximum of 1 of a bosses weakness item at a time and you are only aloud to earn 1 of the bosses weakness item at a time so you canot get all 4 items in one go at the boss. also you are only aloud to get the item from your own boss and not anybody elses to make it more of a challenge and something for boss fighters to strive for.. the odds of getting the item would continuously get better as you earn the achievements. here is how the odds would look-

    before lvl 1 achievement- 2% total chance of getting it
    after lvl 1 achievement- 5% total chance
    after lvl 5 achievement- 8% total chance
    after lvl 10 achievement 13% total chance
    after lvl 20 achievement- 17% total chance
    after lvl 35 achievement- 20% total chance
    after lvl 50 achievement- 25% total chance

    10 from me, sounds like a great idea...only downfall i can see to this is for the people that hit the higher level bosses for drops...they dont want to do more damage, the more damage you do the less attacks you will get and less attacks means less drops

    I like it, I dont play the game you gave example of, so wouldnt know if this would be an erlier or later boss

    but I definatley think later bosses should be given higher "weakness' advantage to the player.

    and @Demonic If you didnt want the advantage, all you would have to do is "not" equip the weakness item.

    Interesting ideea.. the first 3-4 bosses in every game already have their weaknesses.
    But I simply would be to lazy to change my loadout just to kill a boss, and the actual limiteds are a lot more powerful than this items with all the extra bonuses, I think our attack strength would be less if we equip these ones.

    that is what this idea s about to make the items eventually stronger then the limited items so it would be worth equiping a weakness item to deal more damage to the boss.

    eraser- the example was a boss and location that i made up. just threw some random stuf out there so people would inderstand the idea.

    demonik- you dont have to equip the weakness items if you dont want to it is mearly an option so that you are able to kill the boss faster.

    this idea is mainly to make the strong bosses weaker and easier to beat if you choose. and the weakness items might be hard to get not sure tha is kanos desision. a cool thing to do is have kano make the weakness items drops by the boss not sure

    that would work if they made it the random drop like fps and th higher level bosses that have the good random drops for getting at least 2 attacks in

    At the risk of sounding like a broken record....lol What about the players that have already done countless levels of bosses without the benefit of them having weaknesses? I understand that things change/upgraded and no one idea is going to be beneficial to all but my concern is with the trend of wanting to retrofit old content. A certain amount of retrofitting is expected, acceptable and in some cases necessary but in the end it is all either detrimental to certain segments of players or a huge advantage to others. All these lil tweaks may not seem like a big deal individually but all of them combined and overtime is a BFD.

    Youve had some great ideas over the years neil and its not that this one is bad....it just that it continues to pile on advantage/disadvantage that is neither earned or can be gotten back if already surpassed.

    LOL....I still manage to get my dailies most days. Besides being insanely busy the game doesnt offer much for me anymore other than to take away any earned advantage.....I know when Im not wanted and it only took about 352 kicks to the teeth to realize it....lol

    i see what you are saying polish. anther idea that would be good for a new game if they ever decide to create one lol. and if they create a new game it beter have some of the ideas i have made lol because some of them i have put a little bit of effort into lol. and ya that is the only bad thing that we cant really have these types of ideas anymore because the game is mature and changes like this could drasticly change how the game works either for better or worse.

    it would not only benefit new players.

    of those that have already killed bosses, Would this not help to extend them even further?

    Any change of game to make it better, leaves somone that had to do without.

    So you want to hault everything good from entering the game, just so somone else does not have something that you didnt have?

    Lets just give back things like, both faction wars and battle arena, take away bonus xp from joining bosses and helping challenges, oh as a matter of fact, lets give back challenges, we should change all the achivments that where expanded back as well. No more calanders what so ever, no more undead,

    lets revert the whole game back to nothing but bosses, outbreaks/jobs, and an empty fightlist, you know, the way it was when I started...

    no thanks, new content is good for all.

    ya that is true also. and i forgot to put this in my other post. doing this would eneble people to raise the levels of their bosses even farther then they could before from using the select bosses weakness item.

    and just thought of this as well. so the poeople that already have their boss up to lvl 50 and got the achievement for killing the lvl 50 version would automaticly be given the weakness items bu only if you had already earned the achievement before the implementation date.
