Well, since I chose to sleep at midnight pacific time, rather then play the game it appears I've missed out on the blackbolt sniper weapon. I'm somewhat amused that Kano has chosen to emulate the craziness of black friday, by having themselves their own little doorbuster deal, yet I can't help but feel pissed off because they didn't emulate it further by advertising the goddamn thing. My guess is that it was either fairly cheap to purchase and/or there were very few available. And if I had known about it in advance I may very well have made an effort to be awake at that time to make the purchase. Most people plan out their black friday activities based on advertised sales. It would have been nice to have been able to do so with the blackbolt sniper. My other issue is the goddamn 3 day calendar. I'm so tired of these. For a variety of reasons. The main one being that I have to work on the weekends. That places me in the minority, I suppose, but it would be really nice if these things occasionally fell on the weekdays, so it would be a bit easier for those of us that do work the weekends. In addition to working, I also have to at some point sleep. I've mentioned this before, but having calendars so frequently, both montly and 3 day, you're only serving to cheapen what should be an event. Also, calendars do not new content make. I've been seriously wrestling with many issues since February when the hired squad went live. The game since then has been going downhill with no end in sight. Soon, I'm sure the bad will outweigh the good by enough of a margin that the decision to find something else to do will be easy.

I'm sorry to hear that news of our Black Friday sale didn't reach you, and I agree we could have done a better job promoting it. As Smack has mentioned, keep an eye on the store front, as we may get further "shipments" in. As for the 3-day calendars, I'm sorry to hear that the timing doesn't work out for you. Because of the global nature of our player-base, timing issues to pop up, and we do our best to have something for most time-zones/schedules. We have considered different times for calendars/special events, and we will continue to do so. As for the frequency of the calendars, this arose out of player feedback both through Support and other channels. While I can appreciate they aren't for everyone, we had quite a few players request additional calendars as they enjoyed and looked forward to them every month. I appreciate your concern for the game, as I know that concern comes out of a want to keep an awesome game awesome. We also want to keep it awesome, so don't give up on it yet. We're a small but passionate team here, and it's because of an awesome player-base and community that the games have come as far they have. Remember:
Thanks for the responses. I'm also glad to know that the three day calendar is indeed officially a monthly thing. It makes my decision much easier to make. Thanks for the years minus a few months of fun. I'm out. I stopped believing at the end of February. I've only stuck it out because of the friends that I've made. But frankly, I've just been going through the motions.
