I recently sent the following suggestion in to Kano and the support staff who responded liked my idea and suggested I post it here because the more support a suggestion receives from the gaming community, the more likely it is to be implemented. Anyway, the idea was simple, here's the note I sent: "Today is my birthday and I was just thinking that it would be awesome if you gave people purchasing FP an additional discount on their birthday (listed with FB, and available only 1x in a calendar year). Of course, if you do this, you have to make mine retroactive! " So, here it is.. what do you all think?
not shure if i like that idea anyone could say its there birthday even if its not for ages plus it means you have to buy gfs on that day not everyone may want to how about a deal day like a monday to thurs of 20% off gfs
They "could say" it's their birthday.But it still can only happen once a year.This still seems like Kano would constantly have to check and make sure someone didn't already say it was their birthday earlier in the year.Holding off on voting.
Let's play Devil's advocate for the players who like abusing the system and just want to harrass players constantly. Can you see them abusing this situation with alt's and throwing real money into an alt which will not affect them what so ever to do. And if you get a percentage discounted off. How big of a discount would you receive if you purchase the big package of favor points. I will not vote myself on this because if i did i would give it a 5 at most. It's a great concept but that is just one way of seeing how it can be abused.
I figured you polish or alka might have said it first before me i just came back online because of a thread that got out of control that had to be removed and edited until a developer could see it. But like i said its a good concept but that is just one big way in my opinion seeing it abused.
I guess if guys who have spent 1000's on Kano apps can't get a discount then it would seem a joke that people who have a birthday should get one. Maybe you should have asked Kano for some free UN's as it yer birthday. I suspect they wouldn't be so keen to suggest posting it in ideas
You want a discount because it's your birthday? I can see soooo many problems with this, but it's not a bad suggestion to be honest
I haven't voted because I can see a lot of problems with the whole once a year switching birthdays thing, but like alka said what about free UN and instead of your birthday, Kano's birthday or even better the anniversary of your start date(for those of us playing for 700+ days) that way it's once a year and only available if you log in that day. Not saying a ton, not asking to win the lotto but 1-3 would be nice not a game changer but a few would be nice
i would be more apt to agree with my Active accounts B-days than my own......but i guess thats what daily rewards/boosts r for. Im on board with most here....nice concept...but it need s work...will hold off on the rating
