Being on the hitlist.....is it a blessing or a curse?

I am not sure how this works as I have been watching the results and can say I am not very pleased with how the hitlist works.

First, the top players in the game are hitlisted and the only way off is to die at some point. When you die, which for most of us is always a green (ie. we win) kill. But the xp losses are substantial...usually the upper teens 1900!

Second, small levels, like under 20 can hit us and of course they don't win, but we can't hit them back because they are out of our xp range...If they are hitting us, we should be able to hit them.

Third, I have noticed that no matter how many wins I have while on the hitlist, none of those wins goes to my fights won! What is the purpose of winning if it is not counted as a win?

Fourth, last night I was on the list and won 157 consecutive fights and not one of those fights gave me any xp, but when I fell off I lost 1947 xp. The person did not beat me, I just chose to fall off.

The way the hitlist works seems a bit unfair and unbalanced. If we are strong enough to win the fights, etc. then there needs to be some type of reward to us for staying up there and putting up with the jabs from other players. It seems to me that being on the hitlist is a curse and there is no advantage at this point to be there.

The only plus is that we do get some ppl to kill, ambush, etc. But most of them will not hit, attack, etc. to us again as they know they cannot kill us or beat us and they are so far out of our xp range.

I think that the hitlisting needs to be looked at to where it is a good thing to be on it and not a bad thing. I know for one I love to be on it, but not if it cost me close to 2000 to fall off it to someone who can't beat me.

  2. trust me i WISH they gave exp while on hitlist, but they wont.if they did, then all the uppers and strong clan would not ever fall off and level indefinitely.thered even be friendly bounties going on.
i agree though that consecutive fights should be added if your winning.
if you can last for a certain amount of time while listed, should just be able to fall off and no one gets the hit.
yes i agree low levels are too protected.they wanna hit us,we should be able to hit them.if they wanna hide for the 24hr period,we should be able to hit them as soon as they heal even if its after 24hrs since they hid during it.

I don't think you should be able to take a bounty, if you are unable to actually beat the listed player.
How can you kill someone if they are beating you in a fight?

This would stop lower level players winning bounties by going on 'suicide missions', without actually winning any fights.

That last HP point should only be taken imo, after a loss.

  4. sorry but i gotta disagree.

so if someone is on there and no one can beat them theyre suppose to stay forever?

No, any would-be hitmen would increase their attack strength until they were able to claim a victory. I was honestly shocked when i claimed a bounty after losing the fight.
This would encourage people to become as strong as they possibly could.

I don't see a problem with it. If someone's been fighting off people all day, they're going to get tired and let their guard down eventually.

You might want to look up the term "Pyrrhic victory" for more information.

i have noticed that if i get attacked 20 times on the hit list those 20 attacks DONT show in my totle win's/loss's,
isn't it fair to say we where attacked our stats should have gone up, yes we are on the hit list, but a attack is a attack.

at least open a new section eg, " Hitlist attacks lasted: ** "
this will help make the hit list interesting for the people get listed all the time..

I personally think it's great, it expands the list of people I get to fight so I think it works pretty well right now. Only change I'd like to see is to have the fight wins/losses count towards my total.

  9. The hitlist is a retaliatory measure. The whole point being that you shouldn't want to be on it.

If like other apps there was a set amount of xp per fight, everyone got that amount no matter how big or small, then maybe it would work. But with this engine it doesn't work, even if you got xp, you'd get 1 or 2 xp per most attacks, you might break even, but some individuals who are at ungodly stats would never be off the list, and while 1 or 2 xp per attack, may seem small, for those individuals it could equate to several extra levels a day.

This would be why I would praise Kano Apps for setting up their hitlist as they have.

The way it is right now looks fair enough to me, while you are on Hitlist you´re going to be killed by someone who wants to claim that bounty, you´re not supposed to get a profit out of it. Besides as Jay said, you get to strike back against people who attack you, which helps a lot for high levels even though Exp might be low.
I´d like to see a "Hitlist survival period" or consecutive wins achievement though, that would give people a reason to survive while on Hitlist. The wins/losses count should add up while on hitlist too IMO.

Personally I think that hitlist cost shouldn't be solely based on how many times you've been listed in a day, if someone has been chaining you then you should get a discount to list them. E.g. 10 attacks per day = x% discount 20 attacks per day = xx% etc etc

Cheaper for people to retaliate against people who chain them with 1 stamina per go rather than wasting loads on setting up ambushes that people will just run through anyway.
