Attack power vs boss?

My stat:
Total Attack 871
Total Defense 886
Top Squad Strength: 12,520 Attack, 12,520 Defense
I just wonder if that 119 Health Damage is normal for this boss.

Enemy boss:
L3 Gernmany Coop: 917 Attack 917 Defense

 

The more health you have, the more damage you do.

While attack power does make a difference on bosses, thedamage depends almost entirely on your health (and the bosses' as well)

 

There will be an orange message when you start a boss (not present on joining a clan's) that will tell you if your health is relatively low. I have only just seen that there is also a "your attack power is weak" message for some of the later bosses.
