Yet again I see that the arena is nearly all over and yet again I still did not get a chance to play. I really wish that Kano would realise that the internet is actually global. HELLO? Yes this means that there are more than two time zones. There are more time zones than the left side of North America and the right side of North America. Wouldn't it be nice if they included the rest of the world in their 'fair' play and also started the arena in GMT time AS WELL as PST & PDT time. Can you guys at Kano please WAKE UP and include the rest of your players who live in the rest of the world in addition to North America. For the GMT zone this time the start was at midnight. I had to be up early the next day so could not stay up to join in. Joining at midnight then obviously implies that you will be up for quite a while before going to sleep. The best I could do was start in defensive mode. By the looks of it I was dead by 3am or 4am. I makes any contribution to discussion about area play completely useless if half of the planet cannot join in. Please Kano include the other half of your players who do not live in North America. Thank you - hopefully - that you will actually do this at last.

there has been several arenas that have started at midnight or 2 a.m. my time and I live in the middle of the U.S.A. it then becomes my choice if i stay up and play or not. the start times for the arenas do change with each arena.

Last I checked there was 4 diff start times for the arenas and only 1 that is optimal for me and I share the same timezone as Kano. But I still participate in most of them because i choose to make time for them, the ones I simply cant make....I dont bother to enter. I think its also important to note that in every arena in which I have participated there has been players playing from every corner of the globe. Unfortunately no start time will suit everyone as we all have diff schedules. I think the multiple start times is one of the few things I actually agree with Kano on anymore.

A more pressing arena problem is how the "handicap/random" system has got out of control as if Kano didnt plan on players and their numbers moving forward. When a player that cant come close to beating me in the real game can beat me in the arena 55% percent of the time over a hundred attacks....something is definitely outta whack

lol but polish why is that a big deal you win them all lol you said larry beat you an jj with out you guys handing it to him but yet now you have a problem with the way the handicap is done hummm sounds like maybe you should play framville ,i mean if you are allready win every one you get an say the only way anyone will win is if your not in it then why even say anything about the handicaping

@Brosnik Currently, arenas rotate through four starting times, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, and 10pm PDT, or, according to the internet, 5pm, 9pm, 1am, and 5am. We do recognize that we have players from all over the world, which is why we've done our best to spread out the start times to work for a variety of locations/lifestyles. Every start time definitely won't work for everyone, but the hope is that at least one or more will.

LOL....No....I said you would never win unless we didnt play. Larry deservedly won fair an square because he simply outplayed us as the stats clearly showed at the end of that arena.

Ive always had a problem with the handicap it just seems to be getting worse as players and their stats move forward. I simply dont see any reason under any circumstances why a player that cant beat me even one time in the game should be able to beat me 55% of the time in the arena. The game is already heavily skewed in favor of lower levels as they can get potentially far more levels, quality battle drops and return on their stamina investment in terms of FP. The "random factor" is completely diff depending on whos attacking who. I I was winning 80+% while attacking vs the player who beat me 55% of the time when attacking....fair? How about when u consider they are getting wins, xp and battle drops they should never actually get? How about when u consider their level ant attribute strengths in comparison to mine. When they beat me 55% of the time they are getting the max XP available to them for their level while also having a chance at battle drops they can actually use. When I attack them although I may win 80 % of the time the XP is abysmal and the drops arent worth squat. The handicap actually gives lesser accounts an incentive to seek me out while I have no real point in going after them. In the end its completely skewed toward the lower levels, sure I may win more than most but Im lucky to break even because they XP is horrible and i dont get that many levels for competing non stop from start to finish, where as a a player half my level can play for a smidgen of my FP cost and time and more than double the levels I earned. Like everything else in these games....the increase is constant to a certain point but then the scale of things change in order to let lower levels catch up faster , add in the ever growing limits and handicaps and ya really got to start to wonder why people level up in the first place....lol

Maybe farmville would be a good idea....lol

Thanks for revealing the start times at last. It might be helpful Mr Wonderful Toast if this info was added to the start script when peeps sign up each time. Maybe even highlight which time is next for that particular arena. I have downloaded http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/pacific-time/convert/index.htm on to my tool bar to help me work it out and know when the start time will be for me. Maybe I am just catching it unluckily at the moment that when I can actually join in I am in front of the computer with the time to be able to do it. Not everyone can afford to be up and starting it at strange times. I think I have managed to play about four times in total so far. The rest are just happening when I am not around to join in. Hey Ho.....

The start times are available as soon as one ends, the next one is shown when it will begin, it has been that way for some time now.)

Yes I am aware of that Linda. That is why I have added http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/pacific-time/convert/index.htm to my tool bar, to help me work out what the time is relevant to me. Not everybody has that ability or has added the time conversion site to their PC. It would be helpful to many I would think, if the relevant timezone start was added so that people can see what it is in their time. Having the day/hours/mins counter is useful but so would the relevant time zone info. Alternatively, just ignore me - LOL

@Brosnik Having the start times be more obvious sounds pretty reasonable. I'll make a note about it. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Thanks for your response Wonder Bread I appreciate it as I think others will too. :D I am aware that not all players participate in the forum (I couldn't for months due to technical problems which were finally sorted) but all players are affected by what you guys at Kano do and the decisions that arise from you and from discussions by us players here. I find the forum an increasingly important part of the game. Just saying

so what do u suggest that kano do about it while trying to keep it fair? doesnt it make sense that the more powerful players win more often? Perhaps u should use it as motivation to climb in levels and get more powerful yourself.. After all....If the players that have dedicated themselves the most to these games stood less of a chance of winning after all theyve put into it.....what would be the point of leveling and getting stronger at all? If u were the most powerful player in the game....would u want kano to make all your hard work moot?
