As you all know, our Forum Moderators are an excellent group of volunteers who help foster the KANO/APPS community by being awesome and helping out in the forums. Our goal for our Moderators is to have even coverage across all our games, and to that end we're looking for interested Zombie Slayer players to be part of our team! What is a Moderator? KANO/APPS Moderators have dual duties. They not only represent KANO/APPS and its games to its players, but also give the players a voice and direct channel to communicate back to KANO/APPS. By helping to bridge this communication, Moderators play a key role in helping KANO/APPS make better games. What are Moderator Responsibilities? Moderators: Build the KANO/APPS game community - stimulate core players and nurture new ones Listen and raise issues/bugs with the games to the developers Uphold KANO/APPS terms of use and rules of conduct Are experts of KANO/APPS games and are able to transfer knowledge to other players who need help What skills do I need to be a Moderator? Moderators should: Be active in the KANO/APPS community Be a team player Be able to multitask and deal with multiple people, threads, etc at once Be able to appropriately articulate and represent community sentiment through reports Be able to gauge the importance of different community issues Want to help people Be able to work with many different types of personalities Be tech savvy Be able to contribute at least a couple of hours a day to moderating duties Think you have what it takes and the desire to be a KANO/APPS Moderator?
