5 star thread??

I have noticed, that Some threads have 5 yellow starts in the middle area of the listing.

What does it mean? I looked on the legend, there are marks for hot thread, unread post, you have posted in this thread, but no notation for what the 5 stars means.

and no, I am not talking about the ideas forum stars.

 

When you start a new thread, the first post can get a rating note. As you can see in this thread you have in your upper right 4 buttons/links: Thread tools, Search Thread, Rate this Thread and Display. Users can rate your thread quality and thus (I think) when searching something, threads with 5 stars rating would get first in searching results. My 2 cents.
