TGIF! What happened this past week in Dev and Community? Player Bans November 1 - November 7 As a reminder, the following numbers are permanently frozen accounts, and don't count temporary freezes. This is something we actively investigate, and we appreciate players reporting suspicious accounts to us. If you have any questions or comments about a frozen account, please direct them through Support as the Forums are not the place to discuss account freezes, because of the sensitive account information involved. New Limited Items! A new week means new Limited Items! Here’s what’s up for grabs: Manual Freeze Progress Update! To follow up on the announcement of manual freezes last week, I thought I would share an update on what progress we’re making with it. We’re currently collecting a vast amount of data on players of interest (and other parties) and we will be throwing in additional parameters to collect data. We want to be sure to collect as much information as possible before taking action to be one hundred percent certain that we’re catching the right folks. Additionally, we’re looking at adding in some different punishments for people who are caught cheating such as taking away access to the Bounty/Hitlist, the Battle Arena or even limit aggressive action against another player. Happy Friday, players! The long weekend set us back day in tickets, but we should be back on track now. Some of you who use the sidechat may have noticed a bit of odd behaviour this week. We've been dealing with a bug that has occasionally caused old messages from a player to flood out the window. This has happened a few times in different games and we're still not quite sure what the trigger is, but we've released some fixes that should prevent it from happening again. That being said, please send me a ticket if you see anything that resembles this bug in any of our chat systems! In other news, there appears to be a rumor circulating that Kano/Apps is planning to discontinue development on our Pirate Clan game. I have no idea how these things get started, but allow me to go on recording saying this is definitely NOT the case. PC currently has a smaller player base than some of our other games which influences the rate at which we release new content, but we have no plans to drop it and are actually looking into expand it by making the game available on other social networks. Wow...80 more bans on kanoplay server 2...how is there anyone left playing? Seems like theres ever only a few dozen playing at a time as is...lol. Not sure whether u can answer this or not but are most these banned accounts ones that actually had a person (valid email) swap them over to kanoplay or are these just old accounts that kano brought over in hopes their owners would follow? If it makes u feel any better I never actually heard that particular rumor about PC, thats absolutely argggghrageous!

So temp ban someone for cheating in bounty hunts but let them keep their 30 - 100 trillion base bounty !! lol .. not much of a punishment really n1 kano
Since Bounty's are based on the person's income, I really don't see how they could do anything about it, so will be interesting to see the reply from Kano! LOL
Taking away access to hunting is a killer for some players ... especially those "weekend warriors" we see all the time. I am not saying another word, but if Kano has a hockey area for some ball hockey and a case of beer handy, some volunteers could come in when anyone might least expect it ... damn I like having fun!!!!
