Personally Ive never been a fan... nor have I understood why slaps work the way they do. Its never made sense to me why the damage incurred by a slap depends on the lower of the 2 players involved health. If an opponent has less health I would think the damage incurred should be more not less than that of a layer with higher health. Secondly.....As a player gains levels, strength and health they increase the range of damage they can deliver which actually decreases their odds of a maximum slap. For example...if player (a) has a range of 1-500 they have 1 in 500 chance of getting their max slap of 500. If player (b) has a range 0f 1-5000 their odds are significantly decreased of getting a max slap with only a 1 in 5000 chance. How does that make sense? A stronger a player should get better odds not worse. I understand the whole random thing and what it brings to the table but the randomness combined with the lesser odds is an injustice in my book...a level 10 k should never get a 1 damage slap.

What I would like to see happen is a slap minimum imposed for slaps that are retaliatory.. For example.....if I currently have a slap range of 1-5000 i would like it to remain that way if im slapping a player (regardless of level)that has not provoked me via a slap, attack bounty. But if a player (regardless of level)has provoked me via a slap, attack or bounty than my slap range should be decreased say 50% (2500-5000) to be more in keeping with my actual strength.

Would this result in more slap kills? Sure it would. If a low level player attacks me on bounty and now my minimum slap is 2500 in most cases its gonna be a kill shot. Is that a bad thing? I dont think so....maybe then a lower level player will think before attacking a high level player on bounty or slapping them just to slap them. As it stands now...when an extremely low level player attacks me on bounty they are almost impossible for me to kill which means they will feel my wrath for the next 24 hrs which often times results in them crying about being bullied.

So basically there would be no change for those players not provoking others but send a message loud n clear to those that do. While at the same time limiting the negative impact of leveling up and getting stronger.

  2. a small question:
what if the low guy have a low health, let say 10000.. so when you pistol whip them you will get at least 2500 that means 1/4 of their health, and you have a chance to get 5000 1/2 their health.. 1 or 2 attacks and then pistol whip him to get the kill ?

thats the chance they would be taking by attacking the higher level. and besides once he is killed the higher level can no longer attack him, so really its a win for him to be off the 24 hour attack list :)

True...but thats half the point. Actually using the health stat of 10k that u mentioned....if that player was in the hospital it would be a guaranteed kill on the first slap considering they are in the hospital at 20% of their health(2k) and my minimum slap (if my example were used) would be 2500.

Personally I think this is a good thing for a couple of reasons.

    1. finally high levels will get to bring more of their hard earned strength to the table. Keep in mind this would only happen if the lower level opened themselves up to the higher level first.

    2. very low levels are already very hard for a high level to kill due to their ridiculously low numbers. Kanos formula is ridiculously skewed in favor of the low levels or low health players. Usually these guys dont get killed and are potentially pounded on for 24 hrs then listed. Under this new format it would be way more quick and painless for them.

Lets be real....these guys have no business going after an uber high level player on bounty but they do anyways and then whine that they are getting bullied. An update like this would allow the high level to rip the band aid off and then move along and the lesser level will have gotten exactly what they deserved with out it being dragged out.

Does it really make any sense that a level 10k cant kill a level 500 with a single axe slap When they can do a 5k slap on a closer opponent? Obviously this a game and not real life but it would be nice if we could make things a lil more realistic. There is a reason they have different weight classes when it comes to competitive fighting, ask yourself why dont they put heavyweights up against featherweights? It seems kind of odd to me that the little guys in this game get a shot at going for the big coin but yet the big boys n girls only get to retaliate at the strength of the lil guy, whats the point of leveling up and getting stronger again?

Another thing to consider is the hit n hiders that dont normally have a lot of health...they can even be high level players. Does it make sense that they are being rewarded by taking less damage because of their low health? It seems to me that people with less health should be taking more damage not less. It seems to me that if the slap range is going to be based on ones health then it should default to the player with the higher EARNED health. Once again I remind u that Im only suggesting that things change if the slap is against a player who provoked it via a slap attack or bounty. If a player hasnt provoked a player in anyway than the slap range would stay the same as its always been.

I love the idea, would never happen though :-( , as it is now...I can punch anyone that's been playing longer than 7 days whether they've attacked me or not.

    10 stars :p

i gave this a 10 but i dont really think its a big deal either way. if my slap doesnt kill em, the bounty will and if theyre that low it will be ridiculously cheap
