"missing loyalty reward items" http://forums.kanoapps.com/showthread.php?9470-Loyalty-Items-missing-quot-again-quot I didnt get a chance to respond to the original thread....why because it was quickly closed because it was deemed "account specific" and apparently the forums is only for broader audience issues. Not exactly sure how Kano is suppose to know if a thread and its issues has a broader audience if they keep getting closed before members get a chance to read or reply. Loyalty rewards end up disappearing often (most dont notice or dont bother with support because of its complete user unfriendliness. purposely???) and it has been brought up many times as well as a solution to the problem which continues to fall on deaf ears. There is zero reason to have a remove button for loyalty items.....who would want to remove them? they have no upkeep, they are often time the best item players have and their numbers get updated to keep up with the times. Remove the "remove" button from the loyalty items in the inventory list. This has been suggested a dozen or more times.....make it idiot proof! And quit being so quick on the "closed thread " button......give people a chance to reply, agree, disagrre share similar problems and offer solutions for crying out loud. Are these forums or a bulletin board?
@Polish The thread you're referencing, as I explained in the thread, was closed because the original post was about one player's account-specific issue that they were looking for Support for. There's absolutely nothing wrong with players wanting to discuss issues they're experiencing in the forums, however if they're looking for account-specific resolution (as this player was) then they need to contact Support. If you're wanting to discuss an issue you're experiencing without requesting account-specific Support, then creating a thread about the issue is absolutely fine. As for closing threads, I've quoted the section of our Moderator policies that explains why we close what we do. You can find the complete Moderator Policies by clicking on the link in my signature.
OK, so was EXP thing in the arena case specific? When first posted by a single player should the thread not have been closed? If not case specific and it affected everyone....than why must individuals contact support individually to have it rectified? In the name of fairness shouldnt Kano go back over all the participants and award them all? I cant imagine everyone noticed the Kano glitch nor does everyone read the forums. The missing item thing has been an ongoing thing for a long long time and Im sure the original poster of that closed thread had or has no idea whether they are the only one this has happened to. It seems perfectly reasonable to me that some one else might have seen that post and wanted to relay a similar problem or offer up a solution. I understand that the missing item thing is not a glitch rather its any easily remedied problem that happens by a players own doing for one reason or another....but it is on ongoing issue that Kano for one reason or another refuses to do anything about. Just would have been nice to have a single thread for members to discuss similar events rather than a bunch of diff threads which make it difficult to search or takes up the time and resources of Kano and its mods by having to merge them.
