Thoughts on Anonymous Moderators

okay, okay... some people for some reason seen mods as speaking in some official capacity even when posting in black.

 

I don't know what others think, but here is my sequence of events... I joined in Sep 2010 with some serious beer goggles, and have been stuck with whatever name my slightly (???) intoxicated brain came up with ever since, whether I like it or not. I'm not jumping through hoops messaging people to change my name (last time I checked that was the suggested avenue, I won't be bothered with anything that is not "enter your name here & submit"). I'm also not registering with yet another email address to have a more un-anonomized name (my real or in-game name). Not a big thing, I read everyday, but don't post often, the same goes for most game forums I'm in.

But I've never hidden - If anybody wants to know who I am, they could just ask me, or look me up on LCN (I'm high-level scum) or ZS (I'm low-level scum), my Id is: 602662984

 

I did not mean to insinuate anyone was hiding, just mentioning it since being anonymous was being discussed, like I said I am sure there are many reasons , people have " handles" just that I am not creative like that and it is easy just to be me

If you like to change your forum name, you just have to put in a support ticket, Just tell them what you want to change it to and it will be done. This is my 3rd forum name.

If I really cared about my ZS death stat, that would have been a really stupid move. But if I'm online, I'll happily heal to pad AK stats.

I need to get to 666 so I can start hunting again, this listing on punching without me active in hunting can be expensive.

 

well you see, Im not one of those that get off on listing lower levels over and over just because i can. I do always try to kill them "fair and square"

It seems I need to find you not at full health to do that.

If I had a choice, I'd do prefer to be killed "fair and square" as well. But a chain listing is fun as well, -50% XP comes so much faster when you are cheap and happy to heal.

 

Agreed its just too long in coming around long term players might not have walked away had they been treated properly
There was systametic Abuse by previous Mods ....some still here been a Smartie about the fact their still flying their own personal flag..
Deleting posts because their not Percieved to be Kano appropriate ,,,,is just plain wrong ...if the poster can take the time to complain...it doesn't say their not pro the game.
Going to a no name policy of moderators is just as good as any false name and considering you can send in a ticket and it take min 5 - 7 working days to get a reply......enough already

Best idea so far was find players who are respected...
