So in my post for general discussion, apparently im not allowed to post about something happening in game, as that gets deleted, i cant use nicknames, cuz that gets deleted, and i cant post anything right now without it being deleted.

with that being said, what is this forum supposed to be for?

@Slave I realize that you're upset about the issues you're experiencing in the Arena, but raging about it in the forums isn't a productive or effective way to resolve your issues.

As to the topic of this thread, for a comprehensive look at what the forums are for, please review the Code of Conduct, which has helpful suggestions on how best to contribute to the community.

 

you know that is the thing WB i was making constructive comments and they were still being closed, which makes me wonder what this forum is for when someone closes anything that is constructive and so far no one can answer me that.....

 

as well as any questions that i have had about arena...

 

WHere would you like him to post ....or should we all as a collective start our own forum? Where he can unhindered rage about the lack of support he and the general Paying Customers Voice their Percieved concerns?
Or is it simply u have the cash Game Over?

 

It is all about cash these days. Which is why I left the game on Friday. WB pulled a 'Deltan' on me, and tried to convince me there were numerous messages sent to support requesting a monthly 3-day calendar. My question is why would so many people take the time to send a message to support and not voice their opinion here on the forums. I've heard very little discussion both pro and con on that issue. I would also like to see proof of this. D didn't provide that for me concerning the hired squad, and I lost what little respect I may have had for him.

I don't mind Kano making money, but there's a fine line between greed and profit. The hired squad is a source of steady income, though I'm sure they made some cash that day since they invalidated all of our strikers and defenders. The arena is a huge cash cow. And so is the 3-day calendar. They aren't making improvements to the game unless they know there is money to be made from it first.

So you're precisely correct. You have the cash Game Over.

 

@Slave As always, if there's a particular message or thread that you believe was deleted/closed inappropriately, feel free to send a message through to support or to me about it. As I've mentioned before, the forums are here for players to have civil and respectful discussions about our games. When threads/posts become off-topic, uncivil, or disrespectful, they get closed or deleted to keep the forums civil and respectful. Remember, we want you to post your thoughts, comments, ideas, and suggestions. Those are awesome! We don't want to have to delete or close threads, but we do these things to allow for others to keep the forums civil and respectful.

@So what The forums are here to for players to voice their concerns, certainly, but please remember to do so civilly and respectfully. Letting the community know how you feel about a new feature or particular issue is great, but please do so in a way that other players can read and understand while staying within our forum guidelines.

@DTW I'm sorry to hear you feel this way, and I can understand being distrustful about statements that claim support without showing any proof of that support. As you can imagine, it would be rather time consuming (and it some cases impossible) to provide concrete proof for everything I say, and consequently I really just have to hope that players trust I'm not lying to them when I make statements they can't check the veracity of. I recognize that this can seem suspicious, and I absolutely appreciate when players take me at my word, as that's usually all they have to go on.
Specifically for the calendars, while I unfortunately can't show you any support messages showing support for them, I can show you a message posted on our ZS FB page. "All of the calendars are the best. When trying to finish one though, the game went offline for repairs/maintenance so I wasn't able to complete it. What made it worse was the fact that I had only 1 door left and then the Kano Brass Knuckles would've been mine."
This is by no means definitive proof of anything, especially since I copied and pasted it rather than provide a screenshot (which still wouldn't be proof.) What it really boils down to you can either choose to trust that I like both my job and our players and don't want to lie to them, or you can choose to not believe this. The choice is yours, although I personally choose the first one, in case you were curious.

 

I've seen that message WB. It's one of the few messages in support of the 3-day calendar. But unless one is a paying customer, I think you'll find that most people like having a life outside of Facebook and the games they play there. It's not your fault, that I don't believe you. Not only am I a cynic, but I've also been burned by your predecessor. And badly.

I will add that it would be a bit more believable that you've received messages of support on the 3-day calendar over the tripe D tried to feed me concerning the hired squad debacle. Which by the way destroyed game balance in ways that I'm sure would come as a surprise to the staff at Kano. Unless of course, they anticipated that at certain levels, such as mine, not only is it possible to have an advantage over my by a minimum of 800 skill points, but he can also bring to bear 2 more squad. That's far from fair.

I will also add that I like you much better then I ever liked the other guy.

But as for trust, no. That's just simply not going to happen.

I'm curious as to why you can't provide the proof. You can always redact any personal information.

What I choose to believe is that you like both your job and the players AND you'll toe the company line.

 

While I'm not a paying customer in ZS,I am in pirates and I enjoy the calendars.

 

I play all the games but only spend money in 2 of them, and I like the xp and coins I get from the calendars, yet I dread them when they are here, everyone has a choice whether to do them or not. As far as support, if I sent something into support I would not want it bandied about even if my name was not there, posting in the support thread in the forum is a different story , and I for one know alot of people who cannot navigate the forum easily, for a variety of reasons, so they write to support.
