Hide Out Of Range tab keeps disappearing

My tab keep's disappearing with the check box, yes I sent it to support and got a reply, which if you would really like to see, I can post the response. This is FB VC, I refreshed,ran scans, rebooted and same problem occurred numerous times. Yes there were higher LVL'S on. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Sorry for the confusion, but as our Support person mentioned the Out of Range players don't appear on your Battle List unless the combined total of regular and Valhalla Vikings available is less than 15.

If you're looking to fight some players that are Out of Range, try killing a Valhalla Viking or two first, which should make the Out of Range players, or the option to see them, show back up. If that doesn't work, please let me know.

 

OK it either fix itself or something happened, this started day before yesterday. I thought the whole idea hide VAHALLAS was the fix to this situation that was occurring? As of 'now' mine seems to be working fine, without hitting 'DEAD PEOPLE.'

2. Out of Range Opponent Sourcing
We have had complaints that players felt they needed to exhaust their daily allotment of Undead Pirate Battles before their battle list opened up with more "live" opponents. While this was true we intended to only source higher level out-of-range opponents as a last resort to fill the Battle List.
This has now changed and you will start to see higher level out-of-range opponents if there are less 5 in-range to battle.

So 15? you can not take out the undead to get to 5 unless clear VAHALLA list at least at my current lvl. Not that I use it, but the slider bar was put in for "OUT OF RANGE OPPONENTS" unless "IN RANGE" character is really weak. Needs a tweak to allow people that don't like to hit dead people IMO.

 

BTW 10% of your lvl doesn't exactly constitute out of range, if want to hit them instead of resorting to bookmark's etc. The limit set at 10% is perfect, but the execution to the idea UM rather sux.

 

I'm still "at times" experiencing this problem, anyone else? There are plenty of players that I can beat "out of range" and shouldn't have to search for them via guilds/book marks/etc. Before you ask yes they are healed, I checked.

 

Mine disappears whenever the fightlist generates with 5 or more people that are 'in range'

I figured that was just the way it was supposed to be, maybe someone knows?

I get exactly the same and have done for ages. I had not yet got to the point, as you have, of questioning the apparent randomness of the 'out of range' radio button appearing and disappearing all the time. I just thought it was a bit annoying and left it at that but I put my hand up to this happening with me as well. As WB said there is a game statistic in there somewhere but it still comes across a pretty random for us players as there has never been any explanation of how/when this is supposed to work.

The fightlist refreshes/regenerates at certain intervals whether you're viewing it or not.
In this case what could have happened is your fightlist refreshed with 6 people...but you weren't viewing the fightlist at the time, before you've clicked to view the fightlist two people have gone to hospital so they won't show on your fightlist but were healed at the time of the refresh so 'out of range' targets weren't provided.

This make sense?

 

Yeah, but wasn't the case in that picture. I refreshed, exited VC came back in and was still had 4 on fight list. Oh well rarely happens.
