New Chat Interface and Functionality

Today we've released a new chat interface. New features include:

-clickable links
-cleaner and lightweight UI, removed images and optimized some js
-pop out, pop in, draggable and resizable functionality
-space optimization

Default View:

Popped Out View:
-Drag the chat box by moving your mouse while clicking and holding on the top.
-Resize the chat box by positioning your mouse cursor at the edges of the chat box, click and drag to the size you would like.

Next updates we're planning on improving the group chat management, please let us know your feedback and other suggestions you may have.

If you experience any issues with the new interface please let us know in this thread or through support.

i like it can we add friends to the chat like we do in the threads?

 

i cant really tell a difference, but friend messages/notifications are not working.. getting gifts/messages and not aware of it

 

you need to write to support and stop spamming the forum with the same complaint over and over, thank you if you are referring to FB chat that is a fb issue, if you have been banned , then you need to contact kano

we the Mods work hard to help out here as best we can we certainly wont be helping members who post abusive comments about us
the devs are not on at weekends which maybe something needs to be looked at as yes many things may need to be addressed at these times

 

How do we define a "group?" In other words, TM & SWAT are aligned, but we are not all in the same syndicate. Can we make a group in Kano Chat and invite whomever we want?

If we are limited to only our current syndicate, there are far fewer people in the chat than we want. We want to maximize the chat and include or exclude anyone we want. Similar to the pre-captcha FB group chats.
