I noticed a handful of diferent forum ranks for the non-mods/admins. Recruit, journeyman, master, grandmaster, and supreme grandmaster. What i was wondering, How many post does it take to reach each rank?
I would say about 200 or so give or take in between. The highest one i have seen not being a mod is supreme grandmaster. and so far i believe that is the final one. But when your first beginning out on the forums it does move you quicker into another title but after 100 posts i believe it takes a little longer to the next one.
All of the title changes occur on either x50 or x00, and the amount needed increases as you reach the higher levels. Hopefully that helps.
does this mean that someone can post the word "it" all day in every thread to get his name up to grandmaster? also if a Mod leaves his mod duties does all there posts still count when they were mods ?
I noticed Wonder Woman is now (Supremely Exalted). I think there should be another rank of "Untouchable".
@Fusheng If someone spams the boards all day long they won't be a grandmaster, they'll be banned. And kind of a jerk for spamming. And Mod posts still count towards your post total, but please don't quit being a Mod just because we have some cooler Forum Titles @Relentless Untouchable does sound pretty cool. I'll consider it as a possibility for future titles.
did you guys add new titles resently cus i dont remember seeing anybody being a Nearly Omniscient or Exalted before the ranks that i have found are these.i will post them in order 0 posts recruit 50 posts novice 100 posts aprentice 150 posts Journeyman 200 posts elite
I dont get why the mods cant have little titles too since they usualy, not always, have such a high count. would be a good way to show off the different ranks. novice moderator, or untouchable moderator. whatever whathaveyou. Same rank, mod tac'd at the end.
I think the more ranks for everyone, the better. Maybe there could be another set of ranks for something non post related.
@Skywalker @Relentless Those are both good ideas, however we are somewhat limited with what we can do on our community platform (vbulletin.) I'm not sure these suggestions, while good, are possible, but I will take a look and see what I can figure out.
