I have always believed, and been told, that with each booby trap you put on another player, it is meant to get cheaper. Unless this has been changed, it is not happening!! Anyone else seeing this?
I've seen it happen, when someone lists me numerous times in a short period of time. He went from 11 bills to 3.
The other day I had someone blow 14 booby traps and list me i think 10 times and the booby trapping price didn't go under 19billion. Yet i have had someone list me 3 times and then blow a heap of booby traps and I have seen the price drop straight away. So why is it only getting cheap some of the time? I have sent an email to support about this and the issue was completely ignored. Instead of giving me an answer, i was told to come here and make a thread about it.
Booby trap can't go any cheaper than half of the based hitlist price if you have more trap number on a person than the number of hits he has on you
So your saying that you have to keep letting someone list you in order for the booby traps to become cheaper?
Yes, at least that was my experience. This person was listing me quite often. And one day, I noticed that his booby trap price had dropped to 3 billion. My guess is that the few prior to that were cheaper as well. I was just not paying attention.
To clarify the cost of a Booby Trap decreases with the # of successful Hitlistings placed and Booby Traps sprung on you by this opponent. The cost will jump back up to the maximum after 24 hours of inactivity between these 2 players. So to bring it full circle to the 1st question, the cost is not getting any cheaper because you set the Booby Trap first against Player_A, and although Player_A sets off this trap by hitlisting you it does not count as a successful Hitlist attack. Therefore when you set your next Booby Trap against Player_A there is no discount.
Smack thank you very much for the reply. My problem with how this is set up is my bounty is $305,837,677. The people i have to booby trap cost me around the 20billion mark. If i let them list me 10 times in a row so they are then cheap enough for me to booby trap and not go broke, do you really think they are going to start blowing booby traps to keep listing me? They have already listed me 10 times and taken a heap of XP off of me. Their job is done. Either way I have to try and make back a heap of XP or a heap of cash and their just going to come back and do it again tomorrow.
What are you gonna do about the bullies who prevent you from playing the game? It's all well and good sayin that your price goes up every time you are hitlisted but that makes not one jot of difference to someone who has been a sleeper for a few months and has trillions in the bank! I have someone on me now who because I answered a call from a squd member for punch assistance have been hitlisted and killed at least TEN times by a player 1100 levels above me. I have absolutely no means to fight back in any way at all so what's the point? I am now tempted to become a sleeper myself and just leave this game completely! So many other players are suffering the same abuses as we are all easy targets for the higher players who also plot to take it in turns to continuously hitlist and harass lower level players thereby avoiding. booby traps we try and set (to no avail) and splitting the money between them and keeping it in their faction or squad or even both!
do not answer a punch list post unless you are stronger, game play 101 and 10 is not that many at all
