We serve all our games through Amazon servers, along with many others in the internet world (reddit, other social gaming companies, etc).

This morning at approximately 2:25am PT Amazon experienced a network connectivity issue that cut off communication with all our servers and anyone using their services in the N. Virginia zone. We have not officially heard but it looks to be a connectivity issue.

For those interested we are on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (N. Virginia): http://status.aws.amazon.com/

This is a major network outage for amazon and will have impacted anyone using their services in N. Virginia, here is a fun twitter search: https://twitter.com/#!/search/realtime/aws down

    [UPDATE FROM AMAZON]
3:03 AM PDT Between 2:22 AM and 2:43 AM PST internet connectivity was impaired in the US-EAST-1 region. Full connectivity has been restored. The service is operating normally.

  2. There is no such state as North Virginia. There is Virginia and West Virginia (split during the Civil War), North Carolina and North Dakota.

    Canadians.
