With an ever growing list of items to craft the interface we use for the Workshop/Blacksmith is becoming tedious to manage. We are planning on making adjustments around this but we would like to hear from all of you what your suggestions are to make this a better experience. What we are looking to hear from you all is: What are the major issues you have with the current interface? Please be as specific as possible. What do you feel is missing, or how can we make this interface more manageable? Please leave any of your feedback in this thread. We value your suggestions and will be using them to help form a design strategy for the next iteration of the crafting interface.
Well, I have to say, I have been saying this for ages. I'll list issues and suggestions. Issues: - Recipe List jumps to the first craft after crafting, not entirely sure if the page jumps, too (most annoying of all) - Recipe List is way too cluttered with items, finding the one you're searching for is a pain - Recipe List is too small and being under the Items Window makes it less visible These are the main issues I have with the Blacksmith, I'll post some suggestions I already made concering the Blacksmith. Suggestions: - Filters (Weapon/Warrior) (Ship/Weapon/Matey) (Armor/Weapon/Vehicle) (Weapon/Armor/Vehicle/Destructive) And for all a Location Filter - Allow to hold items on the Workbench - Keep the filters until the page is left or the filter is changed - Stop the jumps of the page to the first recipe - Make the Recipe list bigger, maybe so it displays 10 recipes at once - Maybe even a filter for the items: Boss Drop/Adventure Drop/Bought Items/Gifts/Crafts These are the main suggestions I can come up with. I thank you for taking a look at this feature, as it has become really big and hard to use.
the biggest problem is the fact that the items dont stick and take u all the way back to the beginning if i craft an item the page should stay right there and not take me all the back to the beginning to make me scroll all the way back down to where i need to be in order to craft useable items...also if i attempt to solve a hidden item the items that i tried should remain instead of everything being wiped away and having to search through all of the items again for another possibility (this makes tryin to solve a hidden item way more difficult than actually solving that hidden item...lol) thats my 2 cents
I say that maybe Workshop just like Jobs should be sorted by city, and according to whichever city you are on, you can do the items of that location... if you're working on an item that requires jobs from SF, well, you have to be in SF, same would apply to Workshop... Also as said before, the window for the Workshop items is too small because it gives too much space to the crafting part... what if we had a button in which opens a new sub-window (like the one for adding skills) just for the crafting purpose?
Great suggestions! The reverting back to the first item after crafting is the part I hate the most. It would be great to have the Elite/Legendary items grouped by themselves so they don't litter the list and get in the way of our finding what we want to craft. I think having items listed by level as hey are now is easier than alphabetizing them but I'd love to see them tabbed as Weapons, Mateys, Ships, Elite, Legendary.
Agree Ya the first thing you have to fix is the jump back to the top, I also like all that has been put forward.
Personally I don't craft items because the parts needed are hard to collect and than the power crafted doesn't trump the powers I'm already using If I could collect items and create a power that trumped the current top co-op boss drop and the items needed for crafting were reasonable I would craft as many as I needed to fill myself with the top power... BTW... Give us more motorcycles and more FIRE!!!!
Customize Mob Profile pages My suggestion would be this Please allow for our mob profiles to be customized... By: Installing a hide/show feature for all weapons,armor and vehicles.......this would allow us to show off our favorites regardless of strength Maybe allowing the graphics of the properties we buy as a form of background screen saver for mob pro Uploading of personal photo and also lettering customization of mob name, that would get it really pimping. and finally maybe a mini social feed tab next to user/mob/stats that only gives updates of familia&syn
I'd love to see the entire interface reworked. Ideally I'd like the blacksmith page to resemble the inventory page, with just a long list of recipes that you can scroll freely though. Each recipe would have its ingredients listed right beside the item being crafted, so that you don't have to open the description to get that information. Also there would be a tab for how many to craft (max, 50... etc) and a craft button. Would also be nice to have a filter that only displays recipes that you currently have all the ingredients to craft. Personally i would like to see an end to secret recipes, the workbench and "your items". Just throw the secret recipes in the mix with the rest and retire the bench. Failing that however, can we get the workbench and "your items" sections on a seperate tab, so as to not clutter up the crafting screen, while still allowing players that what to discover the secret recipes to do so.
A whole lotta scrolling going on... I would luv if you either reversed the list of blueprints, or gave us the option to delete/remove the useless blueprints I'm wasting way too much time on scrolling down to the usefull and tasty blueprints. Another great change would be, if we could get rid of this "Missing Cash" It's simply just so annoying getting down to the usefull/tasty blueprints just to find out you do not have enough cash You have to go withdraw cash, and then do all this annoying scrolling once more *SIGH* How about we did this, if you have money in da bank then you just click on the blueprint you want, and money will be withdrawned from bank instead?????? They do like this in ol' MW I vote for a reversal or getting rid of useless blueprints Yeah, i know i only have one vote...

I agree with the other suggestions and would add a few of my own. ~Get rid of the secret recipes. It's an immense hassle to figure these out and the reward, more often than not, just isn't worth it. Most people have all but given up trying to figure these out anymore. If someone sends me a recipe, that's great. If not, I'm not going to waste any time trying to figure them out. I have about 350,000 bosses to attack and collect on, lottery numbers to pick, Foxes and bunnies to shoot, Cards to play, Adventures to do, Boosts to give, Gifts to send and collect, and that's BEFORE I've gone out and picked my first fight of the day. There just aren't enough hours, man. ~ Sort the elite and legendary items into their own tabs. Ditto with the almighty "uncraft" buttons.... (I still say you guys really screwed the pooch adding THAT option).
I think, anyone with the words Solo, Sniper and the number 1 should get all of the best stuff for nothing, just for putting a smile on Erics face every time I post! Just saying............ seing as I never got my sweatshirt/hoody.
The workshop is a LONG list. How about putting markers or borders in with indications of the level that unlocks them. Like "Level 100" or "London" between the gold garotte and the broken pint glass, "Level 300" or "Las Vegas" between the razorblade tophat and gold brick. Something to break up the list and make it easier to navigate.
Great feedback from everyone, keep it comin. We are starting to use this feedback to map out a plan to re-organize this area. Expect to see some changes in the early new year.
i know some of my suggestions have been posted already but i'll just say what i think the improvements should be: - organize the items by city (makes the list a lot shorter). you just pick the city from a list that can look exactly like the main one for all the locations. - stop the page from going back to the top after an item was crafted/when an attempt of crafting a hidden item failed - add items that can be crafted using the job drops for Sydney and Havana (and maybe Miami too, since it has only 1, the Mechanical Suit) maybe that way we can use some gifts that havent been used before (since many gifts today are useless) - maybe cut the prices a little (i think it's a bit too much having to spend 1.6 trillion for 100 turbo tanks, for example) - review the hidden blueprints in Sydney and Havana Thats all i can come up with now. If i find something else, i will let you know. Thanks
hi there!! i have also some suggestions..._: -first i want to say about that ideea with cities...button city...i'm 100% agreed!!sure that soon we will have new weapons to craft...but here is a big problem...with hidden bluprints...my suggestion is to add a button 4 gifts..._EXP:weapons, armor, vehicles, gifts...ETC._..it's very hard to select a gift from that pagelist with all items together...lol!!! -another thing is to add more items ...in workshop///wtf ..i have 400 assault blimp..it's a good item to craft...or the last 3 items from havana jobs...-->i say that because not everybody has mobs=friends_with a high level...in mob to get weapons from bosses!!!.so give us a chance to craft powerfull items from jobs... -make another button to show/hide items...i have problems with scroll ..serious!!to many unnecessary items.... -i will come back tomorow_good night to all_...thx_// killer87 Level 2909 Insomniac mobwars la cosa nostra joined 734 days ago...
