old davy items weak now

some of the old davy items now pale in comparison to even bought items

take the following examples

Undead Raider

Attack: +15

Defense: +13

even BOUGHT mateys are now stronger than that

Fighting Crocodile

Attack: +20

Defense: +30

Valentine Crossbow

Attack: +22

Defense: +32

BOTH of those are older davys

now look at the following non davy items

Tower Sea Service Pistols

Attack: +32

Defense: +32


Stormweaver Sword

Attack: +36

Defense: +36


i thought davy items were suppose to be stronger than any others

older davys should get brought up to date a bit

at least stronger than all non davy items

Arabian Destroyer (No longer used)

While I wouldn't really benefit from any upgrading of old DJ Items, I still think they should get an upgrade, especially considering the fact that many of them are now weaker than the massively available Boss/Adventure Drop Weapons or bought weapons.

I never bought Davy items, since I played Viking first and learned about how quickly those lose power. But I agree.

And while we're at it, why not get some more Blacksmith recipes?

 

the UN items all got a added 10 to both atk/def


older davy should get that same upgrade

Really, these old items need a big overhaul, sure, there were hundreds of them released in the 2 years the game has been around. But I think that generally adding 20 points to everything older than 1 year would be helpful.

Oh, and while you're at it, put some lovely ladies in Viking Clan on sale. I'm collecting them.

Yeah, Vikings have the same problem. Masses of items that are now exceeded by boss drop items/adventure drops/blacksmith items.

I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree. I just feel that where the game was at, at that time, those weapons worked. Now the game has advanced, and so have the weapons. I don't really feel that means that there should be an automatic upgrade. I could see a blacksmith receipe for some items, but things of the past should be of the past.

ZS got there favor point items updated so why not for the others

 

and ZS hasn't been around as long as the others, so it would be only fair to the old players on the older apps.

 

why not.. add +10 to each items stats for each year the person has been playing? as a sort of anniversary gift.

 

We will be looking at PC and VC this week with respect to the Favor Point Items.

I just checked my Davy Items and yes, their stats were increased! Thank you all!

I see also that the Armor and Vehicle Godfather Items in LCN were upgraded, not so much on the weapons. There were a few (such as the Flamethrower) that could use it, but not many of the weapons were bad.

Also, I see the Kano items were a part of this facelift.

 

I'd like to sale those old weak items. They don't have to sale for a lot but at least we can get something good instead of just removing weak items.

I agree - either sell an upgrade on the item for 2FP or allow the item to be sold back for 5FP. That's my suggestion.
