Syndicate/Guild/Faction/Armada Wars Input

  1. Thanks Eddie for the update! Not exactly what I had in mind but a good idea nonetheless. Anything to really get guilds into fighting each other rather than just measuring them based on activity level is a good thing. Could be interesting how this turns out between the 3-4 superpower guilds

    +8 Bounty Trap

Finally there is a reason for doing this.

"+2 points for counter attacks man. That is a weak way to fight"...."My only concern is the high amount of points you are rewarding for a coward move of the counter attacks"

LMAO! I wanna play against u all day every day! A true carpenter or mechanic makes use of every tool in their tool box. Which game do u play? Are u one the best ? Because if u are ....I may come over and join ya...I need a vacation from competition!

Counters are part of any players arsenal (like Polish mentioned) and can be used as needed. Personally, I rarely used it (didn't need to) until I was "ganged" up by 3 players within range (3800-4000) that only logs on and off at the exact same time (get my drift?). Basically, it's needed for strategy. It's only a coward move when you have someone with 10,000 counters... they claim they never use counters and stats beg to differ. Those players are called "talkers" (yes, I'm talking about a specific player), however, strategy can be used to discourage these players from countering you. Also, it takes 2 stamina (VC) and cost gold to set one or more- so, theoretically you actually have an advantage if you're not the one setting the counters.
Finally, think about it... hits re-set in 24 hours. You figure out the rest.

"We are looking into awarding additional bonuses for ranking high in Wars" Kendall

I still can't get this stupid grin off my face :D

Some suggestions: Favor point (s), "Earned" War Flag, Maybe a "rare" weapon or warrior winning guilds can arm. Even bonus xp points, etc...

or, my all-time favorite...the use of having Eddie in your guild as the secret nuclear axe :O

So to clarify, will you be making it that ... regardless of level difference ... anyone in a guild at war against you, can be attacked?

Hey Mike, havent seen ya in the forums in awhile...good to see ya!

Kano hasnt chimed in yet on whether this an viable option or not. A couple players (including myself) think that it would be a good idea. I personally think it would level the "guild war" playing field for the higher leveled players.

Im thinking that a any player who is participating in these "guild wars" should be able to attack down to anyone half their level whether provoked or not against any other "guild war" participant. So for example.... A level 3400 should be able to attack, list etc etc a level 1700 or above. I think that this should be allowed at least until the predetermined "limits" have been reached. So for example...that level 3400 should be able to attack the level 1700 250 times , bounty them 10 times etc etc. in a 24 hr period

Im also an advocate of lifting any type of protection "limits"across the game for any level 2k-3k or above across the entire game whether they participate in the "wars" or not. Player this level or higher do not need to be "protected"in any way, if they dont know what heck they r doing by these levels then they r playing the wrong game. in addition.....if a higher leveled player wants protection.....they can always join a "hidden" guild and enjoy the "protection" that these types of guilds afford them.

All really good ideas Eric! I would just add additional achievements and their corresponding rewards.

Once again....Im gonna have to agree with ya Eric!

When I was planning "polishpimpn 2" I wanted to be able to take advantage of every "weapon in my arsenal" (lessons learned from the original polish account). We all know that which ever direction a player goes with their "build"..... there is always the inherent weaknesses that come with it. If ya go to heavy in one direction.....you will inevitably suffer in another area, some players will go for the "balanced" approach...this too will leave a player vulnerable in some of the often neglected yet in my opinion most important categories. So with this in mind....only a fool would limit themselves by labeling a particular tool in their box as "cowardly".

What good is a gun to a hunter or for self protection if they dont have the guts to pull the trigger?

if u are in war then only attacks in that war count so it doesnt matter the lvl of the higher player bc if the lower players do not attack them then there will actually be NO fighting involved in the war...LoL

if ALL reg attacks count that do not involve the 2 syns in the war then that is another issue in itself but i hope this is not the case since i dont seem to see this feature in mobwars yet, has it went live?

    Thanks Polish!

This will hopefully validate the "true" top guilds based on a "battle" game.
No pretend or "talk only" guilds.
We may not agree with everything "in-game" at times- that's what makes this game diverse and exciting to me, but I do know how hard you and Jillian have worked to form a strong 25. Players that not only get the 16k, but know how to fight too!
XXX will give you guys a run for the money, but when all is said and done, we can shake hands and move on to the next season. Those that slander and create conspiracy theories do so because they simply can't win, lol. A.k.a. Whining. If they only took that time to figure out the game! Tsk, tsk.
Having said that- good luck to you and PIMP. Happy Hunting.

The way I understand it is...that u only receive the points when engaging another guild that is also participating in the "wars". In addition.....If the guilds are allied..yet still both participating in the "wars" ...points wont be tallied for engaging them either.

I think it is important to understand that a guild leader will have to physically go in and choose an option that allows them to participate in these wars. so if myguild is attacking members from another guild who has not "opted in"...no points will be tallied for those battles. This a big part of what Kano is trying to do here....they want to take the focus of the more aggressive players off those that are not as aggressive and want to be left alone... and have them focus more on "minded guilds".

In regards to what I was saying about either lowering or eliminating protection limits for higher level players engaged in these wars, all Im saying is that higher level players have a much smaller selection of players to get these points from...in most cases they would have to wait for someone to attack them in order to retaliate and gain points. Low and mid level players have a much larger selection of targets to go for on their battle pages....thus having much more opportunity to amass more points.

TYVM Eric! I couldnt agree more with everything you said my friend. Im just hoping we can give your guild a run for their money.

My only major concern...is that guilds with an abundance of lower level players will have a lot more to target than us mid to high leveled player guilds. If they dont target us.. so we can retaliate...both r guilds may very well be on the outside looking in.

I definitely dont sweat the "talker" or "alt" heavy guilds..... them 3 lil piggies can huff n puff all day long but they aint gonna blow down a guild full of real people....lol

I've got one lil question, will a faction be strictly forced to be at war against just one faction? If that's not the case:

-How will points add? With this I mean, will all the factions at war add points to the same counter?

-Will there be a counter for each faction battle? With this I mean, for example, Guild ABC is at war with guilds QWE and RTY. ABC beats QWE by a big gap, but RTY wins against ABC. If for some reason QWE manages to beat RTY, who will be considered winner?

The way i understand it is (please keep in mind that Kano is still doing some tweaking and started this thread in hopes of ideas and feedback)-- A guild and its members that has decided to be part of "guild wars" will be amassing points against any and all other guilds that chose to participate. So if there is 20 total guilds that decided to participate....then u can amass points by engaging any member of those 20 guilds. Im not sure if the points will be tallied individually for each member so they can see who they've "engaged" and how many points they've gotten or if all the points will just be tossed together as a guild total

Hopefully Kendall will chime in soon and answer some of these questions and give us any new updates as how things are coming along

  16. You already know that the "Paras" guild would have to be the "true leaders" here. If the stats don't reflect that then they are wrong and it's obviously Eddie (you) cheating.

Yeah that's how I understood it as well. I'd like to see how each faction works against each one, and why not an individual record as well.

from what i have seen, u have to send a request to go to war and it has to be accepted so anyone that has participated will have stats against the other

if it is indeed the way that u proposed then i am not sure how this will work at all in MW bc i dont see too many syns opening up their syn just to participate
