Another though: Could it be the "harvest transport" plus, say, the sun shield? Don't have the transport, but it also could explain the power of the sword...

found a better way to find the skyshine blade

been trying these, need sum more options for non gift items if anyone has any ideas
1 Blazing shield , sun shield
2 Blazing shield , thunder stroke mace
3 Blazing Shield , mist hammer
4 Mist hammer , thunder mace
5 sun shield, thunder stroke mace

Then i added gifts and tried the 5 combinations

I believe more in the world boss drops than the harvest transport, just putting it out there. It could also be the Fafnir dragon helmet or Beowulf sword rather than one of the shields. Was Hel minion the last purchase unlock at the level of Land's end sentinel?

Actually I think Mistlord Hammer + Sun Shield really fits the pattern perfect (cmp with the sentinel)... Know if anyone has been through that extensively with all the gifts?

 

i did the mistlord hammer and the svallin sun shield with all the gifts and no luck
then i did all the ones above.
whats cmp?

 

Good non-gift items to try are the Vanaheim Boss Drops: Minotaur Flail, Twin Minotaur Axes, Minotaur War Bow, Minotaur Hoof Club. Also, any item Vanaheim adventure drop or item needed to perform an adventure should be considered a likely candidate. The Cloudland's Guardian recipe indicates that a needed item does not necessarily have to be available to the player when the recipe unlocks.

i have tried a ton of combos. nothing.

i think i have tried everything with the blazingshield + sunshield.
i have tried just using the higher level gifts with the mistlord hammer + high level items + gifts.

i am frustrated trying to figure out that stupid recipe!

 

so has anyone tried the harvest transport? 43/43 -> 50/50 seems like a bit much but in light of all the failed attempts I think it shouldn't be discounted.

Is that what you meant?
I have both of the World Boss Items and can buy the Sun Shield.
But I don't have the Transport. The next Odin's Rune Challenge will drop the final item I need for that.

 

Yes, what do you think? Sorry to impose but I'm nowhere near the harvest transport - was hoping someone would have tried it already.

 

Makes sense, using a Blacksmith recipe. I just have my doubts because the Transport uses TWO DIFFERENT drops from a challenge. The scarcity affects the power, but that is RIDICULOUS!

Ehhh, I can try it later, when I get the stupid Freyja Tunic. It's late here.

Hi, everyone! I've reached the limit in Pirate Clan and waiting until I can get to the next level for the next blacksmith recipe to unlock. I'm so addicted to this feature that I joined Viking Clan just now to get more blacksmithing for my fix!

My question is for the Highland's Longbow. I crafted the Highland's Ranger and Fine Light Axe, but the recipe between them, the Highland's Longbow, says it's locked. I'm level 5 (woohoo! LOL) and have enough gold, so what am I missing? Why is it locked? If it was a hidden recipe, why doesn't it say "Hidden Recipe"? It just says "Locked" so I'm assuming it's just locked for some other reason.

Anyway, I'm rambling my question over and over again in various ways. I'll shut up now so I can hear an answer.

You have to select the items from the list manually. Once you craft it, it unlocks. But you have to craft it first. That is why guessing is so hard.

 

I *love* blacksmithing in pirate, but the recipes just aren't as appealing in viking. Vikings don't seem into the reciprocal gift thing as much, either, for the recipes that need it.
