so I participated in a Raid, came in 9th in damage w/ 18M+, nearly 1000 heals, and got NOTHING. No loot, no XP. And yet in one of my own raids, it failed to finish because it got clogged with campers who did under 10K damage. Love the XP from raiding, but the criteria for rewards have to be spelled out, and raid openers have to be able to boot campers.

You need 1,000 Heals or more in order to qualify for the ending rewards for a Raid Boss. If you want us to check it out, you can submit a Support ticket so they can view your history. But with the information you supplied, that would be the reason you didn't get any rewards at the end.

Well that blows. Must have lost track. It should’ve overall actions, and threshold should be raised to dis inventive end camping.

IMO if ya cannot take down your own raid, don't open one , and or keep it private and invite people you know and trust to at least do the min. Min actions is all that is required, I never expect anyone to do more if they want to fine, but it gets expensive for many to keep buying refills, I only open raids in the games I can take it down myself if I need to :)Post a raid publicly is a risk I am not willing to take, mine are always private.

Your reward chance status shows on the screen when viewing the raid. If it says "IMPOSSIBLE" it means you get nothing.

ALWAYS do the 2,000 actions including 1,000 heals as soon as you join or start the raid. If you dont have enough energy and stamina to do that and cant or wont buy refills...dont join or start the raid. Very simple

With Steven on this, hit the correct minimums before you do any further actions and do your minimums in one go. Otherwise you will always run the risk of being screwed by the raid being killed before you can finish your minimum actions.

The reward criteria are quite clearly spelled out in both the raid itself and in the faq/help tab. If it is/wasn't clear then there is also the option of posting questions in here or in the respective chats in game. What you've been through is 100% avoidable with regards to item rewards.

That kinda of attitude would mean a lot of people shouldn't open raids, like over 60% of total raids. Not a very constructive comment really. Yes, don't really rely on randoms to do the lion's share of damage but you haven't addressed important points like "What happens if he doesn't have a private group of raid killers/friends in game?". I guess everyone new to the game should get stuffed ey?

@davidcherr If you need to find people to help with raids then look to join a syndicate or reach out to people in inbox/world chat. At least on Kongregate/Armor there are a few dedicated raid groups that will get raids killed if you follow the rules. You could even post in the forums with what server you're on and I'm sure some raid thirsty individuals will be in touch haha

well , Reesy901, still holds true, if ya cannot take down your own raid, then don't open one, work on raids and get your skill points to the point that you can take down your own raid if need be. It is common sense, be proactive and network with other players, stop waiting for someone else to fix things, when there are things one can do like read about raids for instance and know your limits, what is wrong with this person for instance just joining others raids, or sending his or hers out to long time players , people need to be responsible and take responsibility even in a game. I play four games in two I open many of my own raids and take them down , in two games I don't have the resources so I don't open them, simple mathematics.

I now only play Zombie Slayer and open 3 raids every event, I have a raid roster and everyone is killed in 2 days give or take an hour or so, after all invites enter open to faction rarely are they full and usually I do most damage or top 3, I don't kill them usually, but np as long as killed, never go public or need to. My raids are rarely full and have afew different raiders, but the core is always the same it's true invite those you know will put in alot of damage and do your best to lead by example, if first starting you my need to find good raiders not easy, but they are out there, Good Luck and happy raid killing.

Right there is your mistake, you can do as much damage as you like, but you MUST do 1000 heals or you get nothing when killed.

what mistake did I mistake ? I open prob 7 or more in one game, usually 10 and in another game and two games I open none, I invite people who can only do the min so low level clan can join and not be pressured as well as heavy hitters, and no one does more actions than me, my raid my energy , I take it down and I do the most actions, on my own,and I don't post to the public. I join hundreds cause I share with those that share with me.

I tend to agree with Kirsten with a slight addendum, if you can't take down your own raid or you aren't in a syndicate with a good support system for doing raids or you don't have a few heavy hitter friends who have offered to bail you out do not open a raid unless you can take it down yourself.

There are far too many few day old accounts opening raids. While I am sure some are legitimate new players who are simply wanting to join in the fun most are alts. And some of those new players should take some time out and learn about the game. For example how did this new player who started this post do 18+ damage with under 1k heals? A new player who already has so much stamina they are making use of a healer? If you had taken time to learn how raid works on the boss page it tells you if you did enough to earn a reward if you take the 2 seconds required to look at it.

As with most good things about this game the garbage in the game have figured out how to abuse it, take advantage of it, and suck the fun right out it.

 i NEVER take down my own raid. it always other people in party who take it down for me.:p:D so it's fine if you can't take down your own raid as long as you can find a good helper in your party. teamwork! this is what raid is all about.(lie, me only do min on other people raid). but well, everybody have their own way to play.. so don't say something like people shouldn't open raid just because they can't finished it on their own. cos it sounds kinda lonely there.:p it not that hard to figure out who the good hitter as we have raid leaderboard as a reference.. don't trust it too much though.. ;)

Well maybe when a player appears new maybe, just maybe, don't open with the holier than thou attitude of don't open a raid if you can't kill it yourself. I'd struggle to kill a raid on my own and I've been on here like 5 years. Networking is important, as is not posting to public or sharing with raid leeches. I never said don't know your limits/leave raids to other people, I'm just saying that actually helping people is better than telling people not to open raids because they're too weak/don't want to throw a load of money at a pointy clicky time sink.

  14. The key here is to put some Effort into getting players signed up on your raid that Will do some damage! Just starting a raid and putting it public DOES not mean you are going to get enough help to kill it - sometimes just the opposite. I have seen raids that are full but most are only doing minimum and moving on. It doesn't take much effort to invite - go down Raid leadership board and send invite -most of them want to be in on as many as they can you might even get new clan doing that. Going public Should be last option not the first.

I still stand by my advice, expecting others to take down your raid, is a gamble, I don't gamble , but if you want to be ,my guest.

That is fine but then people should not complain when their raid has campers in it.

I will say this tho there needs to be an option for us to at least boot players out of the raid if they are not doing the min damage or the requirement to be met! so I totally understand even if you have a Private Raid Boss you still have a chance of the players you send invites out too not do chit at all! so I prefer to see a Kick Option!

Kano have made it quite clear they don't want to provide a raid kick option and rightly so. It would introduce problems of what do you do with actions spent/someone already hitting min. and then getting kicked? Not a headache worth trying to figure out. A blacklisting option would be nice though. I.e. I've had this person cause me issues before on a raid and I add their profile to a blacklist of people for my raid(s) so that they can't join. It would also make posting to public a slightly more viable option (it wouldn't protect new accounts/malicious alts clogging up raids but those are the risks with going public)

I think you're missing the point of my comment Kristen. This player is quite clearly new and I'm saying maybe offer constructive advice. Killing your own raid is not an option for most players, so that's not exactly helpful. As for "gambling"... I do not gamble with my raids as far as inviting, and I certainly don't post my raids to jobs/world chat. Their is always a risk that everyone in my raid will sit on their hands, and I'll end up having to do 50-100M damage to get it down but that is a slim risk. I am aware of that risk and am averse to that scenario occurring. To conflate that to gambling is just wrong though. That would be like saying leaving the house is gambling because there is a slim probability that you'll get struck by a falling satellite and therefore I should never leave my bomb shelter.
