TGIF! Development News for November 2, 2018

    Happy Friday, everyone!

    A bit of a shorter TGIF after last week, but we still have a couple things to cover. Let’s get into what new this week in development news:

    New and Upcoming Content

    As we teased last week, some older Co-op Bosses in Mob Wars: LCN got a fresh new look today. This includes some Achievement extensions, so if you’ve been beating up on the Bosses of the first three Locations, make sure to check and see if you qualify for any! In case anyone wants a closer look, here’s the new art for the Bosses:

    Moretti Family
    DeLuca Family
    Abbott Family

    As the games (and Kano!) are now a decade old, or nearabouts, some of the older aspects of the game could use a once over. We don’t have any other immediate plans to fix up other Bosses, but there are a few we certainly have our eyes on.

    Viking Clan, a new Location is coming your way next week!

    Daily Reward Rework

    A couple weeks ago, we announced that we were looking at changing up the current Daily Rewards structure with an eye on sunsetting the system soon. We’ve had to revisit a few things so we are pushing this back a bit. We will still give you plenty of notice when this is going to take place, so look out for that in the News.

    how about for the lower bosses, making level 100, 250, 500, 750, 1000 etc new achievements. most of the original players are probably between 750-850 on ny boss and probably close behind on chicago & london. And also would be awesome if you could make a level 2 NY city that is better than coming out with new cities every 3 months or so.

    putting achievements to lvl 1000 would be ridiculous and completely unreasonable for any new player joining the game. That is stating that they have to play a minimum of 2000 days and a more realistic 3k+. im at 1700 on kong (more on other platforms but dont play) and have the first 5 at lvl 600. That would be unreasonable on many lvls for people to be required to play a minimum of about 8-10 years just to have the chance to gain a achievement. that would put older players who farmed the lower bosses at a huge advantage and any new people at a huge disadvantage in terms of competing in certain aspects of the game.

    If there was an overall to boss spawn timers things would be different but as they are now that would not be a wise choice to make or implement. A reasonably obtainable goal could be lvl 100 but any higher then that and its just stretching ti a bit too much. 200 minimum days post location launch is already a very large amount of time. It wouldnt be as bad as the challenge achieves they have implemented for complete X amount but would be close to it.

    what is wrong wirth 8 to 10 years I have been playing since may of 2010 in two of the games

    That really should be a much higher number.......................
    But then again, Ya don't have to have a Facebook account using a Real Identity
    ...................... according to Facebook's TOS and Community Standards

    playing the game for long periods of time isnt a problem. having achievements such as boss lvl 1000 would be though.

    any zs news coming soon?
    Maybe a BA update?
    Maybe an update to FW since the 250 drop in since the poor B factions can't play at all with the new structure?

    Maybe adding something for our bosses that have like 3 achievements and then hit them for years?

    Maybe an achievement for revisiting the outbreaks since we have done the same city for 8 months or there abouts (it takes about say 2 weeks to finish a city and we get a location about once every oh let's guess 16 months?

    Maybe a new fight win achievement that's retro active. Or hitlist kills achievement?

    Maybe a scavenger hunt for a cool little trinket to build?

    something? anything?

    You know besides asking us to rebuy our items and drop another couple hundred to catch up to the squad and hired change?

    Grat idea every city up to level 3 and boses to level 10 , thats better for new players and for you Kano development. Also start the raids from begining so the new players can get acchivments , Add new City properties as levels goes.

    Pretty sure this has been asked before, but is there a real need to have Raids under Co-op bosses button? It has it's own button, so no clue why they are there as well, unless I'm missing something as of why.... :confused:

    i agree, not really a point to cluttering coop bosses page up with raids. I like how it is now with them being on separate tabs.
