[LCN] Metamoki's Mob Wars - Aug 1 Sunset

This is BS. Many of us were with Mob Wars for a long time and have a ton of money and time invested. To say our stats will transfer is a joke. All they are doing is putting them in our account so we can see how strong and rich we were. It does nothing to truly transfer us to the other game as they implied. Additionally, many of us have multiple accounts but only some of those accounts even have the transfer working. They are not getting the three free weapons that are supposed to get. Some can't even get to the transfer because the links provided are broken for those accounts.

 

Forget about multiple accounts in LCN, they will ban you. Only one account permitted.

you as well? I just checked mine and have 7 new people ... I have NOT sent out any invites NOR have I accepted any as I haven't been online .... so ummmmmmmmm HOW did they get added?

 

i do not see the rewards that players can claim for playing there..an some are having issues as well..can you give us a Link Please Thanks!!

 

I want to be very clear when I say that no email addresses have exchanged hands and we have been very careful to not collect or store any personal information. We have a relationship with the makers of the original Mob Wars (Metamoki) that allowed us to transition players as smoothly as we could so we took advantage of that relationship. This is very different from players joining LCN from other games that have shut down.

 

If you are "friends" on FB with any new player that joins the game it will automatically link you up. That is why you are seeing some auto added

 

While Mob Wars and Mob Wars: LCN are similar they are also very different. As such it would be impossible to do a 1-to-1 mapping of stats/items from one game to another.

As you have noted your Stats are for posterity so that they are not lost forever when Mob Wars shuts down on August 1st. We felt this would be a nice gesture to keep a record of that.

As for transferring issues there have been a handful of accounts that we can see on our end that are not linking properly. We are in constant contact with Metamoki and they will be looking to resolve these issues. There have also been issues of players saying they can't access LCN. As far as we can tell this is caused my FB accounts that had blocked the LCN app.

Outside of these issues I would encourage anyone having trouble linking to contact Metamoki's support team so that they can look into it.

And finally, we do not allow multiple accounts. So if you were playing multiple you should choose the one you want to transfer to LCN wisely.

 

only question is what about the multi accounts that players have on there..are they gonna be allowed too use multi accounts here? which this is a serious question!!

 

Our policy has not changed and issues of multiple accounts will be treated accordingly.

 

so u are saying that they can bring there other accounts over even if it means they have 15 accounts?

 

No, what I am saying is that if we find players to be using multiple accounts we will handle them no differently than anyone else.

It wouldn't matter if you played the original Mob Wars but outside of not being FB friends I am not sure how this would happen. I would suggest you remove any Mob that you do not wish to have and we'll do some checking to see if these can otherwise slip through.

 

only problem i see with this is that the accounts that are coming from there could be main an alts entering cause u know the majority over there probably Exploited an etc that is something you guys need to look into before allowing them over here..cause this could cause a big Feud! j/s

 

We were all new once. Welcome to LCN, I hope you have an enjoyable gaming experience. I'll try to pay attention to world chat to answer any questions. I have an account on Mob Wars also, there are marked differences.

And Smack? My accounts are not linking up on the LCN side though it says linked on the Mob Wars side.

 

Multiple accounts won't be an issue.. It's putting years into our accounts then having to start over which many will not do, and won't bother playing.

And I also have opinions with LCN that many of you will hate. If you get angry easily then don't read this part.

• The navigation - Very difficult to navigate and find things. Also, what is this workbench? There's no explanation on how to use it.
• The jobs page - The ugliest page. It feels cluttered.
• Fight page - Probably the cleanest page I've seen yet. Although I'd like to see which weapon(s) you and your mob use when attacking players on the list. If this is an option, ignore this one as I'm still trying to find my way around LCN.

I'll update this post as I attempt to progress through LCN... Whenever I can.

Thank you for the feedback. Curious are you playing on Desktop or Mobile? Sounds like Desktop.

Workbench - this is our crafting system. You can drag and drop items onto the workbench to attempt to craft them or just follow through the Blueprints by clicking on them to see that the inputs are and the Autofill button to save you from manually dragging and dropping. We do have some "hidden" bluprints but if you do a little digging on this Forum you should find a list of every hidden blueprint as our players have built up this knowledge.

Weapons brought into battle - on the fight results you will see picture of the weapons both you and your opponent have armed. If you look at the links in the bottom/middle there is one called "Show Details". If you click this you it will show you a break down of where you were stronger/weaker as well as show you the inventory your mob is using. Alternately you can see which items you Attack/Defend with by going to your Profile and clicking the Fight Strength tab. This will show you how many of each item and their combined Attack or Defense that is brought into battle.

 

A lot of people that came from Mafia Wars felt the same way Conspiracy Theory. The interface differences are something you will get used to rather quickly. One thing you all do have though is lots of people like me and many others willing to help you
