this new system of using skill points is for the birds

Your Attack Strength was 39.43% less than your Enemy's Defense Strength, to win more fights arm your mobsters with stronger inventory!! First off I have a stronger inventory than the player that I was fighting, I've gotten my hired guns all purchased, and I'm at 2000 on everything compared to my enemy who only has 1523, that's a difference of 477 mobsters, 477 more weapons, 477 more armor, 477 vehicles!!! And my personal attack is at 3610, so now your saying that I have to arm myself with better equipment, especially since I was stronger in every single area except for personal attack which is weaker!!! Let's see here, I'm stronger in every single area and as a matter of fact, it says that their is a total of 8 areas, out of all 8 areas, and I'm weaker in one area and so I lose when I was winning on this here same player is nothing more than a bunch of garbage!! It stinks just like garbage stinks!!! If I'm stronger in 7 out of 8 areas that should make me the winner, and it doesn't because of you at kano has to adjust the measure of the personal attack and defense strength which isn't right at all!!! I'm completeley unsatisfied with this, and since I have my own money and time in this game, I think that kano should reimburse me for the time and the money that I put into this here game, I have been called so many names that they don't belong in a game, calling others a whore isn't anything game related and these jerks need to be removed from this game, give me my money and my time, and I will gladly leave this game that is robbing me of my money, and saying that what I buy doesn't count in my game strength, that's not right and get the crybabies out of this game, if they don't like us kicking their ass's when they themselves have the same oportunity of purchasing from kano but choose not to just so they can cry and whine over it not being fair that someone is kicking thier ass's!!! Give me my money and my time which I hold very valueable and I will gladly leave this stupid game!!! Because it is stupid game now that you have F'd me over with bullshit that I never ever signed up for!! I didn't spend my money so that kano can take away my game strength and make me weaker because this I would have never ever agreed to and I think that I'm speaking for some of the other players that you have done this to also, so give me my money back kamo, give us our money back kano

 

Porch, first off, what is your level compared to that player? and if they have used their skill points in att/def and gotten over the 8K on both, wouldn't you EXPECT them to be stronger than you with your 3610?

 

each category is weighted by a different amount with attack/def being the highest just below the overall rng critical hit multiplier.

With the new update the weight that personal attack and def holds has been increased while the inventory sections have been decreased.

 

also, MORE doesn't necessarily mean stronger .... you could have 2K items with 1 att/ 1 def and if you attack someone with 1523 items and 5att/5 def, they are still going to be stronger over all

 

I was reading the starting thread post by PorchBunny Toothnail which I find hilarious at best. Went looking for "refund" in the Terms of Use Agreement there it is, item: (d)You understand and acknowledge that all purchases of virtual items sold on the Site are final and non-refundable, except, in KANO’s sole and absolute discretion, and are a limited game play license and not a cash account or equivalent. Once you buy any virtual item sold on the Site, all sales are final. Further, KANO may refuse service to any person, or terminate any KANO Games user accounts, at any time with or without notice, in its sole discretion, for any reason or no reason, including if it believes that you are under the age of 18. Further down the document you will also notice:
8.Virtual Items

Purchases of any virtual item sold on the Site are purchases of a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use that virtual item in the course of game play, for that virtual item’s intended use in the particular KANO Game for which that virtual item is intended. IN my opinion, with regards to the "rules" PorchBunny Toothnail has no claim or standing in this matter. Rushing to purchase or build does have consequences. You PAID, You PLAYED.

 

PorchBunny is complaining that she no longer can beat another player because that player is now stronger? PorchBunny did not lose any strength is that correct? I can not beat 99% of the players in this game, I do not understand the complaint.

 

she;s crying because the weapons that she has went BROKE buying are no longer helping her the way they were ... she just likes to whine and cry where ever she thinks she will get her way.

 

first off, let's take a look at what we have, first off this game isn't just based on skill points at all!!! You have your personal attack and defnese and you have your loadout, you have your weapon attack and defense, you have your armor attack and defense, you have your vehicle attack and defense, now with all of those areas being in this game, you cannot just accept someone's attack or defense in this game, especailly when you have hired guns also, so right their is all of your attack and defense put together!! Now if kano wants to only base this game off of your personal attack and defenses and you don't include these other areas that I have laid out!! Kano would be opening up themselves to a very very very big lawsuit!!!! That is a fact, because you can't just change the damn game because of these higher level crybabies that won't spend any money on this game even though they could afford to period!!!!

You are still missing the point.. the rules were laid out in the terms of use -- you are not going to get your money back. YOUR items are still YOUR items --- and if you work on your personal skills (including your vocabulary) I bet you can beat whoever it is you seem so angry over. AND KANO has the right to balance accounts with any means necessary

 

First of all, Kano admitted they neglected to occasionally update the Skill Points algorithm to keep up with the increases of the Loot items bought or earned in raids. Because of that anomaly , many took advantage of that and exploited the flaw for a long time. Many enjoyed an advantage for a while. Now that they correctly modified the formulas and brought one area up to date as they should have all along, those who enjoyed the advantage want to complain. Your loot Items have not been devalued in any way.
Think of it as a Car Manufacturer's Recall for a defective part on everyone's vehicle and now everyone has the same new part on your vehicle to make it drive properly.

 

this is almost as a Lottery Ticket in Real Life No Refunds, Does that Make Sense? lol an if they did refund you, your money like that we all will be wanting all of our money back so yea i dont think this is gonna happen sorry!! you pay for what u get an give! done is done!

LOL you know it's the truth .... last I checked, 8000 is higher than 3610 by over 4390 ... so double the strength on the basic skills ..... then we get to figure in the mob count and the items in loadout and stockpile. So by all rights, even with a higher mob, the higher level would have to have NO mob and NO loadout or stockpile

 

i would be careful giving legal advise to others regarding a written rule that may or may not be legally binding. i know of at least one instance that an account was banned for unjust reasons within a different game and the game was sued and they lost. the account was reinstated and they gave the owner a considerable settlement. this is not speculation it is fact

 

It seems pretty simply spelled out in the Terms of Service ,

Why are you removing comments from only certain people? I saw a post here about having a community vote about the changes, I was letting others know and to my surprise it has been removed and I can't message the person who posted for some reason.(You most likely deleted the account or some other form of ban to stop the questioning. You claim you want to help ALL players not just personal accounts or friends, then I ask why do you delete people and comments that voice they don't approve of it and want a change? I think you need to rethink your staff, to me it seems you have power hungry young adults who want to flex their new powers. If you don't think this is an issue so be it, I do however think you should research some other games out there who also employ this same type of staff. Playdom for instance was shut down due to the abuse of staff crediting unlimited money and godfather points to friends and banning any competition, it lasted 9months after players started complaining. Run this like a business and not a daycare.

 

Kano has always been involved with the community, we may not like their ideas and they certainly do not implement many of ours, but in the 7 years or so I have played their games, they are fair in the forum, there are also times when they merge posts into one thread, I don't remember seeing the post you are talking about, but also know kano is closed on the weekend and they prob will not comment till Monday their time. I would not even think of comparing them to another company, I have played games from other companies and they are nothing like Kano, I do not play those games anymore, either You are making alot of assumptions and are very negative, not sure how long you have been playing but.........ya need to stop whining
