[VC] BATTLE ARENA

I am sorry But I will not be involved it it ever again! Unless they fix it so it is fare for every level of player. I am a level 2644 player and I can't last in the battle arena for more then 7 seconds before I am knocked unconscious, and I am sure it is by the same 10,000 plus player. It is like putting a light weight Boxer in the ring with a heavy weight world champion he isn't going to last one round. I believe that it should be set up by levels A's Can only fight A's, B's Can only fight B's, and so on. Let each group fight it out and when they are the last player in their group they move up to the next level. At least that way an E group mite have a chance of getting to fight an A group at the very end. What do you think of that?

 

It's a battle ARENA...a free-for-all. It's not tiered for different levels and shouldn't be. The names are hidden so you don't have any idea who is attacking you or who you are attacking. The Arena that is going on now has been strange for me. I was TWO MINUTES late getting started (was on the phone) and I was unconscious when I get in. That's not normal. Usually I get 150K points ore more before going out the first time. I got back in after my 30 minute time out. Usually, after coming back from a knockout, I get MAYBE 30-50K pts before getting knocked out again. This time, I got 4 kills and 194K pts. For Sudden Death, I was ONE MINUTE late getting in, and I'm dead when I get there. I just had to laugh. That isn't normal either but it's the Arena. You never know what will happen.

I'm a little over lvl 6K, but I usually last longer than I did this time. I DO like the idea of making tiers, somewhat like Guild Wars, although I'm not sure how they would split it. I guess they could get the total number of players and divide by 5 (or however many divisions they decide) and rank them by level. Then, they could award prizes by level. I really don't see Kano doing that though.

The Arena isn't what it used to be. I like the current way of getting knocked out and being able to get back in. Originally, it was a 'once you are killed, you are out' thing. The current way is an improvement over that, but as time goes on, fewer and fewer folks are getting in the Arena. There were only a little over 700 folks in this one. There were 1500 or so entering when the Arenas first started. Interest in the Arena has been declining. It's never going to be totally fair. Some of the really long-time folks can tell you it's kind of like Bounty Blitz's. There are some folks with auto-click scripts and stuff like that that have been reported and yet nothing has been done. I think that the long-timers believe Kano won't do anything to them because they are some of the folks that spend real money on the game. I don't think there's a whole lot we can do about it except either quit playing or offer suggestions and HOPE that something may be changed that way in the future.

 

I'd like to see more competing in the Arena but maybe tiers do need to come in to incentivize it.
The RAID bosses have meant people have been able to level really quickly meaning there are now HUGE differences between participants in the Arenas. Vic - I guess you got pulverized early on by one of those RAID boss junkies.
I'm over level 12K (and a semi RAID boss junkie, but I got obliterated from full health within seconds in the last Arena - even in defensive mode!

Battle arena ....Server 2. OK, it is 6:40 p.m. central time. I refreshed page at least 5 times while looking for a target. Alls I could find to attack over the 10 or 15 minutes I tried was 5 different players. I killed 1 who gave decent points of around 100 The others gave anywhere from 5 points to 50 on average. Finally got to see a flash of around 180 points on someone as I was suiciding on out of boredom. Please find a way to bring the fun back to the arena!

 

30 minutes later, 4 targets...10 points on the first target, 21 on the second, 18 on the third, and now 9 points on the last. Ho HUM. Not to mention the experience gained makes me wonder why I am not outside enjoying the fresh air instead.
