[LCN] Raid Boss Walkthrough and Feedback Thread

Don't use the share button and don't post it in jobs or WC, that will significantly reduce someone ruining it, also don't expect cause someone is a high level they will do the right thing either.

Not a great deal of heavy raid hitters will be doing this round due to boycott, so you newbies know, be prepared to spend, spend, spend in order to kill your own raids, again, this boycott has nothing to do with you, it's about the way Kano has been treating the older players by pretty much ignoring basic things, besides, a lot already have the achievement for the upcoming raid and it was the 1st ever raid Kano brought out.

If this isn't against the newbies then I don't know. It's not only a plain boycott players have been talking about, there is a threat out to take positions to block them but dealing no damage, to take positions and intentionally perish them, to chain hitlist those that post their raids. I understand that everyone is upset about a perished raid, but there are also those new players that understood how it works and you never know who's raid you are spoiling. I understood how it worked in the first raid I joined and have been helping in many sometimes more healing than doing damage to balance out for those that need more time to understand that this one boss works completely different than all the other bosses in the game.

I agree that the raids should be beneficial for all players

There are already so many animosities in the game against new players. For those that don't like the newbies in the game - in MW we were always aware that older players will stop playing for several reasons and if a game doesn't get fresh blood, it will die over a while. So you all got a chance that your favorite game will last way longer. It's not all bad about us.

Just because it was accepted in MW to play with scripts that doesn't mean we are not relieved that here you can actually play without them. And no matter what Zynga said - they started to make requirements for events soooo skyhigh that it was impossible to gain the rewards without paying especially as there were constantly bugs that would not let you get close even. That was the moment players started to make scripts to have at least a chance. Zynga is just a greedy bunch of incompetent people. Your Kano guys are gold compared to them. The majority of players agreed about using scripts so it wasn't really cheating as also all scripts were available for every player. In MW then it was a complete no-go to attack people way below your level and hitlisting was only for people that were too weak to fight their own fights and it was regarded as honorless. In LCN this is an accepted part of the game. New game, new rules and we are playing this game now and not MW anymore. So we get used to the rules here.

I really hope that after a while we can all get used to each other and can enjoy this awesome game all together

 

Nicely said, Marion. I am enjoying LCN, and am really happy that there are no scripts. MW stopped being fun when 99% of the players went on auto-pilot because the zynga challenges required robbing, icing or whatever thousands of times just for a single step in a challenge. That was no fun at all.

 

How come you are now recycling the raid bosses twice in a row?

 

It is not about raids that are perished, as much as it is against Kano, , but I don't believe ruining the raids, is something that should be done, but those were only suggestions.

 

I would urge EVERYONE to boycott this round of RAIDS, by opening a RAID all you are doing is lining KANO's pockets and things will not get resolved if this happens. KANO sees all the Newbies as simple Cash Cows at the present time, as the game goes on the current Newbies will become seasoned players and then they will see what the current seasoned players are so upset about. I would urge EVERYONE to join in the boycott for the greater good of the game in the long run.

This is not about going after the newbies, or killing off their RAIDS, I don't support this idea, but I would ask you all not to open the raids in the first place. PLEASE support this Boycott.

 

AGREED! I am a newbie and will support the boycott because I can understand from what I've read here why folks who have played a long time would have issues with Kano. Of course there are some bumps in the road caused by a fairly large group of newbies coming in all at once from a game with a different culture. But I'm sure that some aspects of mw and its community are well worthwhile and other aspects are better in LCN and its community. If we all stick together, things will be better in the long run.

 

I don't know how many times people have to say this but surely people are going to get annoyed from repeating themselves, IT'S NOT ABOUT THE NEWBIES, FFS, IT'S ABOUT KANO NOT MEETING WHAT'S BEEN ASKED OF THEM FOR YEARS, LONG BEFORE ANY OF YOU GOT HERE. CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU? It's nothing to do with you lot, don't even bother posting if you know nothing about what's been going on and what hasn't been going on. Most newbies are welcomed, FFS, the world does not revolve around Mafia wars immigrants. So frustrating, sheesh!

 

Too bad others support the idea of perishing raids and too bad all the newbies didn't read this but not all newbies come to the forum, I mobbed up with a few new members and received links via in game message for their raids and when I checked the raids, they were perished by high level players...tsk tsk

PS this is the first time I have ever posted in this forum that is how ticked off I am about this situation, I can give up this game in a minute, I have been loyal for years but if you stay the course........peace out

 

Players have always perished raids for various reasons, I hoped the worst thing the community would do as a whole was to join and take a spot, and then do nothing else, even that is sad, but people need to get their heads out of the sand and pay attention. I know many many raids will go unfinished and then maybe people will take notice, I have never seen such an organized boycott in a game before.

 

If you are keep bringing back the old RAIDS, how about updating the drops? The drops from the current Raid where ok 1,5 -2 years ago when they where in the range of the new limiteds, but today they are simply weak and obsoleted. This RAID is only good to give the new players a chance to make the Achievement.

 

I figure they wanted to give the new players a shot at it so we can prob get stuck with all raid that have already been repeated Of course they want to give them something that they missed, ( said in my most sarcastic tone ) just to be clear, how silly of you Gaze not to know that

 

Noted the sarcasm . I was more curious if the content team has any clue about what he is doing, as coming out third time with this old boss with the weak drops, its like they surrendered and not even tried to make the raid a success.

 

With any sort of luck the drops from the Interpol task force have updated stats since it 1st arrived and hopefully tier 1 starts at level 500 at the very least.

So now all the raids from high level players are being limited to high levels. Last time they boycott them, or kill the raids after people join now they are limiting to 4000 + that is sad for us waiting for these to level and play, this part of the game isn't fun anymore.
