This is sadly true. I am only a level 1600 and i am just thankful to make it into the top 5 for once of course i had to buy like 3 refills and get all my wp in the regular phase

well from what the post is about it sound like auto adding players ERRRR NOPE NO and NO againg if i want to play any part in BA i will join my self i should not have to opt out. freedom of choice peopel what you do , or do not do, in the game. If Kano want to get more people involed they need to address problems aired, not just auto add peopel so other players can rank better PFFT

i don't know about that. if i get a chance, i buy a few refills because the xp is good for me. sometimes, i can even get in the top 100 and get an xp bonus. the key is when you participate. there are 3 optimal times: the start of the brawl phase, about an hour after the brawl phase starts, and the start of sudden death.

but each time you get killed, you lose points, don't you? and what's the point of healing if you get killed 5 minutes afterwards? like i posted, the brawl phase stinks.

Yes, I agree. Brawl phase stinks most of the time, and can do more damage than good to the points you have built up. This is not always the case, but more often than not, it is. I will heal up if I have nothing better to do just to try and grab another level or two before dying again, but now that we have raids to level off of, there is not a whole lot of incentive to worry about gaining levels in the arena.

that's exactly the way i look at it. i always seem to do okay in the sudden death phase, but the brawl phase is hit or miss (mostly miss). i don't get bent out of shape about it, i just don't understand the rationale behind having the 2 phases.

I understand why Kano did it this way, they wanted to give people the chance to play during an 8 hour window and to give them the chance to revive if they get killed.

The problem is that it doesn't work very well due to the fact that there is a small group of super strong players, who pounce on everyone who revives. If you revive after about an hour in brawl phase, you just find a lot of people in def mode plus a few top players not in def. If you hit the latter, they will just hit you back much more strongly.

Exactly. Which is why the brawl phase is ridiculous. I understand why this was done as well, since there are now only 2 start times and days (when there used to be 4 start times and the days rotated). But if you can only log in and play for a few minutes before being taken out, that's not much fun, is it? I wait until the field has been thinned out a bit and take advantage of the bonuses that are available towards the end, you can even take out some of the whales this way. :)

That sounds like a pretty risky strategy. I save up my stamina, so I want to spend it quickly, not get stuck with it.

Yep you lose points each time killed which is stupid

bots/scripts are the biggest problem. i don't spend money, so i don't care if i lose to the money spenders. losing because of bots/scripts sucks, though.
