I wish that I could transfer my FB LCN account to Kong. I'd finally kick you around! Hiya Mel

in the last round of raids i was passed by several people who levelled by 100s, the raid bosses give you much better drops than we used to get when we all started years ago,
wonder if there is any chance of the drops we all had being made more equal? probably not, just a thought.

You will have a better chance of winning a lottery, in real life, 10 times in a row, than seeing Kano up the stats on our old loadout items for free. Kano just wants you to spend new money now to buy even better items...there's no value in it for them to raise it. What would be nice is if they would let us upgrade some of our previously purchased items...say trade in 2 items to make one with double the stats (ish). You could call them something like, I don't know, elites and optimals perhaps? Just sayin'
You could even take it a step further and let us recraft optimals together. Call them duoptimals, trioptimals, quadoptimals, ...

Great minds and all that! I have approached Kano with this idea, afterall players purchased items some 6 years ago and we now have better drops from bosses and jobs. Basically this is why I quit FB and went to Kong.
2 years I have been asking and was told no to any upgrades on old purchased items, unbalances the game apparently lol. If the top city was still Miami I could understand that argument. The rest of the game moved on i.e cities, raids etc guess us paying customers just got kicked to the curb.
But as you say Stone there is no money in it for them so it's not a worthwhile venture.

Sounds a lot like the Pawn Shop as I have suggested. "Pawn Shop" just gives it a name and and maybe a "play area" for this.

Seems the only ideas and suggestions from the customers that Kano will listen to are the ones that they can charge us for...the more the better.

or it could just be in the stockpile/workshop section, but names are good as well.

wont work they was going to do the pawn shop but you would have to have every item you owned bought before you could use this, when we mentioned this we wanted 75% of the original cost gave back for crap items we spent so we could change them in for better items hell even 50% of the original cost would be fine since 2 old items are not as good as some of the new items coming out. Sucks on behalf of all the old loyal players who put there cash in for great items years ago and those items are worthless now. I believe any item you have in your inventory the stats should double ever 2 years maybe 3 or something at least kano can do is understand how this make's the old timers feel totally Unwanted unless we want to respend and im not doing it im glad im not one who went full out buying shit for this game.

whats worse is some of the new city have great craft items and great drops for jobs but with all the bosses and there rewards once we get there they aint worth poop. Its a shame when you get to a new city and cant use shit or if you can use it they take so long you end up in next city before you get any significant amount of the stashed. Instead of raids Kano needs to spend the next year focus on other parts instead of the raids my FB just showed me 1 yr ago was when we got the rewards for them the first time so i think kano needs to focus elsewhere than these money grabbing monsters and kano sorry to say but you are proving more and more money hungry as the time passes and its become more noticeable as time goes by and thats not good you used to atleast cover up the cash making motive now its right smack in our face.

On Kong LCN, no one could ever say you are not one of the few who has saved more than their share of RAID bosses. For the amount you have spent on refills to get a drop on a RAID, you are probably one of the ones who has wasted their money helping everyone else while not doing what was best for you ;-) Everyone should send a thank you to your paypal account! LOL

Kano will say that the items we bought years ago were the best at the time, and that we have had the use of those items for these past years, and that is all true. BUT one way to reward those of us who have been playing LCN for many years, and SUPPORTING KANO, could be rewarded for our loyalty to the game by allowing us to craft older, less valuable stockpile. Noobs wouldn't have any of those older items so this doesn't apply to them, but they will see that the items they are buying today will be reusable in some years from now, so they will be more willing to spend. And THAT, Kano, is how you foster LOYALTY to your games!!

Quite a few quit for the same reason I did on fb because old gf items became obsolete.
Many of them did not move to a different platform to start all over again, they just walked away.
Now what would have happened if Kano would have thought properly about suggestions to upgrading old GF items, would these big spenders still be here all happy and still spending?...I think the answer to the question is of course they would!

im at the point now i dont really wanna buy items for the fact of what we are talking about old items no good whats the use buying these items now if a few years they are worthless. partial refund on any items you have owned for more than 2 yrs would be nice and im talking like say 12 to 15 fps per item. That would be a nice proposal on Kano's part to show the loyal spenders that there cash is not wasted anymore and they will be tempted to buy more since they know if they stay and play in 2 yrs those items can be returned and be able to upgrade out dated items at a fairly reasonable cost also. Now thats a loyalty program

I know this is probably not a popular idea but just like inventory items early in the game have to be a certain level before purchasing, and the same with properties, and opening bosses...... why couldn't Kano put a level requirement on items as well? For example, make it so that anyone below level 1000 cannot buy items that are 470/200 stats. This would eliminate the issue of new players being able to immediately match long time players and it would make everyone in the same situation of buying items that are 170/60 at lower levels and eventually moving up to better and bigger items later.

I think the problem with this idea is that it would benefit about 8 people and hinder the rest of us. I'm not sure I see them picking it up for that reason.

Anyone who wants to spend $$$ can level as quickly as they want and bypass any level threshold for making purchases.

I do like the idea of being able to trade in older items. However as long as it is used as one of your 2000 weapons, armors, vehicles you should not be able to trade it in.

Yeah but people who've played for years should surely be able to buy the same items as people who've levelled more quickly and been on a shorter amount of time?

we see it as a waste of money and most have stopped spending due to this why buy something then 2 years later items 3 times better come out. Most wont realize what we are preaching here till they have spent 5 yrs on here busting there ass for no reason thats the problem you spend and bust ur ass for 5 yrs for someone to blow it away in a matter of months or a yr. This is one reason i have slowed spending alot lately and if i do buy an item its 1 now and not multiples of 10's or anything like that, we have items in the 500 att or def give it a few yrs and they will be in the 1000's and this will throw the imbalance of the game off items should stay up longer crates should last 4 times longer. the good items we buy today are outdated within a few months with new items when yrs ago it took awhile before new things was introduced, I like the seasonal crates they was awesome i used to try to collect the whole set the new crates i rarely buy them i also went more for the defensive section i miss that

So you think if a player has played 5 years, even if they stayed a level 1000 should be entitled to by the same items as a level 10k if they made items available based on level? So what happens if a player buys his way to level 10k in a year.... if it is based on a time criteria, do they then have to wait? I would think that this game is designed to LEVEL and job drops, bosses, and skills all come from levels. I think if a person does not level, they should be limited on how far they can go. That is why higher levels cannot attack down. To protect the lower levels from becoming bullied. However, it has become sort of reversed. Now players sit at level 2000 or so, buy items and get stronger. Then can hide from being attacked by players they cannot beat or don't want to fight at the moment. But as soon as they want to attack someone who did level, the higher level has no protection. If the game changed to where players had to be a certain level to join bosses and buy higher items, suddenly, players might find it necessary to level and instead of having all these people "hiding" at level 2000-3000, suddenly there would be a large influx of level 10,000 players.

I don't think tiered items work to be honest mate. Top levels already have boss items that lower levels don't.

You could be right that it would encourage people to level more.

Well I level. I've played for nearly two years and am at about 3200. I just can't afford to spend a ridiculous amount of money on the game. I don't think I should be restricted to what I can buy as a result of that.
