[VC] Bounty "Flash" Event Tomorrow (Oct 29)!

Hey folks,

At some point tomorrow we will be running a "flash" event. This is a short, one-to-two hour affair where we will give bonuses for doing certain in-game activities. Tomorrow's flash event will be centered around Bounties! Here's what you can look forward to:

• Bonuses will be given for Bounty actions
  • Kill reward
    • Value of bounty will be inflated by the Gods. Price to place a bounty will remain unaffected
    • An XP bonus will be given for collecting the bounty
  • Placement Reward
    • An XP bonus will be given for placing someone on the hitlist
  • Attack Bonus
    • An XP Bonus will be given for a successful attack against someone on the hitlist. No bonus for listed players who are defending
• Auto hitlisting by the Gods
  • The frequency and number of players listed will increase during this event

Since this is a trial run, we will be open to adjusting certain things in the future or maybe even opening up different sections of the game for flash events. We haven't yet determined when it will run tomorrow, but there will be no advance notice because it is supposed to be a surprise! When it is active you will of course be informed about it in-game. Right now this event is only in Viking Clan but it it works out we will bring it to the other games as well.

For anyone who is concerned, we will be keeping an extra close eye on this event tomorrow so play nice! If this is successful we would like to do more of these in the future so keep it clean and don't ruin it for everyone else.

Nope, sorry! As the post said, the event time is still to be determined, and also it's supposed to be a surprise event by design. I'll see if I can drop a few hints, however.

what about those that use a bot to cheat on this kind of thing? there are gamers that play the apps. through facebook that will do that, which is unfair and against the terms of service, which ruins it for everyone

 

why do u think they are doing this Betty Healy when events like these occurs they do keep an eye out on the Bots/scripts once detected they are automatic Freeze on there accounts..if i am correct on this Mi7ch! doing events like this are a good source of detecting cheats in the game is all i can say

 

you look at my page in PC and tell me that someone isn't cheating or using a bot to auto heal, etc.
I get attacked daily and in multiples by the group called Hardcore Pirates and bountied in same said fashion, I've never said and nor have I done anything wrong to warrant that.. I have complained about it before and no one has listened to me.. thanks

 

Love the concept, hopefully i can free myself up from work at the right time to land me some xp and funds

 

just wondering why would you guys do something like this. are you trying to get low lvl ppl to quit. i can only see high lvl ppl benefiting from this bounting thing since us low lvl ppl don't make enough to even set traps let alone bounties on those big boys

 

Im a low level and i love the idea. What makes you think low levels wouldn't benefit? As of tonight, Bounty Kills:1,263 Max Bounty Collected:344.872 trillion

 

u know how many times i have report players for cheating with bots i only gotten one ban an it took me 4 years..so after i reported more players for doing the same chit nothing asnt gotten done..you might of well give up at reporting to kano bc they aint gonna do nothing about it. Only Reason kano are not banning the Bots it is because of the cheaters are PAYING KANO TO STAY WITHIN THE GAME an that is how kano are getting there paid Salary sorry for putting this out Kano but it is True NO LIE EITHER!! i call out on what i see..an when players are reporting someone for cheating u really should look into it more then what u do besides just sticking your nose somewhere else...LOVE YA KANO
