My question is not looking for an opinion as an answer but information from either a link in another forum topic I missed, a message in the NEWS that I can't find - or a reply from an actual Kano authority like Mitch. From my understanding, when playing SW that the strengths of the team are taken from the top 15 players and that all players of the syndicate are equal when participation in Syndicate Wars. That the weakest player and the strongest player have the same strengths based on skill allocation in attacking in SW. The only difference being variances in ARMING by each individual. QUOTED FROM THE HELP SECTION : "Syndicate strengths are calculated from the top 15 joined Syndicate members which all contribute to the Syndicates attack / defence / health. If you do not have more than 15 members you will take the stats of all registered members. Once the war begins the stats are saved for the duration of the war. When initiating a battle each player is equipped with the strengths of their Syndicate along with their individual armed attacks strength which contributes to their minimum damage against" First question: Is ARMING set like as in BA at the beginning or can that be changed during the course of the SW? The above seems to state that STATS are set but ARMING has variances. Second question: Based on more information from the HELP section, it appears there are BATTLE PERKS as well which are based on skill allocation percentage. Is this like BA where Energy is excluded in the total or does this also exclude STAMINA as well? What areas make up the total for SW?
yup, defense arming gives you more health per heal as I was told by one of my friend. likewise arming might have slight effect, but health and other stats will be counted in to syndicate's stats
I know the posting party was looking for an expert's input but since that hasn't happened yet figured I'd offer my 2 cents worth: Once SW starts the arming is locked into place and cannot be altered. At least that has been my experience. Before SW starts I put my best defensive loadout on then go to the SW page and then profile. Once on the profile page I click Refresh stats. This helps provide the best health and defense for my synd. It also greatly increases my heal per tokens (not quite double) compared to my offensive loadout. Then once SW starts I set my loadout accordingly and my SW stats do not change.
Once the War starts, your armament is locked in like the Battle Arena. Only Attack and Defense contribute to Syndicate Wars in terms of Perks. Hope that helps!
I've gone through and done the math before... the synd stats are only slightly affected by changing your armament because it's based on the sum of the top 15 members for skills, armament and total loadout. As for your personal attack and heal, that is significantly affected by your arming. For example, when I have my atk set equipped my minimum damage is ~300k and heal is 2.9M per token. With my def set on, my min attack is 62k and heal is 5.7M per token. In working out the numbers, I found that the heal per token is directly related to the armed defense. However, the total amount is not just dependent on your personal def and loadout. I haven't had a controlled way to directly calculate the change for each point to armed def though.
According to the HELP, it states: Defence - Energy Heal Bonus - The greater percentage of skills in your armed defence the more you can heal your Syndicate. When figuring out the percentages of skill allocation in BA, it takes the total skills MINUS the skills used in ENERGY. The skills allocated to energy are not factored into the total. So what I am curious to know is in Syndicate Wars - when calculating percentages of skill allocation - is it just like BA? All skills except ENERGY are used for the total skills? Or is it different in Syndicate Wars?
