Random Raids to All Games, No more Raid Events

I wonder just what real numbers Kano is seeing in players being active now compared to a year ago. And I wonder if they would like to comment on why they think most of us long time players have noticed a drop in player participation. If it is not partly due to the raids, and the change in how the arena is done, just what do they attribute it too? Making the raids random was a great idea, but apparently it will remain an event. Seems like the players who have stuck with Kano for such a long time should not have their ideas dismissed so easily without a reasonable explanation. It makes it seem like greed is the primary reason an event would be kept that brings boredom to many of us, and that it is pointless to keep letting Kano know what we do and do not like about the game.

 

i agree. as time has gone on, it would seem they value our input less and less and thats what used to be so cool about the company and their games is that they actually listened to the players. now its to the point where they know certain people are addicted to it and wont stop no matter what they do and we are where the games have fallen to. inexcusable and unacceptable.

 

I don't think that's fair, we've changed plenty of stuff about the Raid Boss since the first one based on feedback and will continue to do so, not to mention all of the other ideas/suggestions we've taken on board in the past and more than likely in the future. I did mention before I brought this to the developers that it was designed as an event and was likely to stay that way. As I've said we are open to making adjustments to the frequency, but in order to make the Raid Boss a random event the whole thing would most likely need to be scrapped and re-built which we unfortunately do not have the manpower for currently.

 

if its not right take it out all together then and bring back the activity to the games

 

Guys if u cant afford a Ferrari then dont argue with the dealer about the price.
If u cant afford to take down 10x raid bosses per month then ignore them.
Nobody forces u to participate in any events, even if ur used to that in real life.

I never said I cant afford to take down 10x raid bosses per month. I just find it extremely boring and I would rather see more activity in the normal part of the game. Unfortunately when the raids are going on, there is very little activity in other areas of the game.

 

I know that you guys are working hard, and am appreciative of your efforts! Thank you! You'd said earlier, in a different thread, that Kano will be bumping up the levels for bottom, middle, & top tiers in Armor/Kong's next Raid Boss Event. I'm looking forward to those changes with great anticipation.

Raids are here to stay i would say, and if thats the case adjust the xp payouts for higher levels to make them fun for us too

 

Not fair? Let's stick with that concept for a minute. Unfair is forcing people to play a way they don't want to. Sure, it's a free game (to an extent) and everyone had the freedom to do as they please, but lets face the fact of the matter....this is a game of competition, on all platforms and in every differentiation of it. These raid bosses are no more than a way for players to buy levels. If your rivals bash the crap out of as many bosses as they can get their hands on, then the people that care (the majority of your player base) are forced to do the same or fall behind. Please explain to all of us how THAT is fair. I can't for the life of me recall ANYONE asking for that in any way. Unfair is quads of coin lost to some unexplainable fee kano makes usnplayers dish out to toss a bounty, it doesn't go to anyone or anywhere and serves no purpose other than takkng more away from us. Unfair is everyone and their mother begging and pleading for the arena to go back to the way it was and kano turning a deaf ear to it all and saying this is how it is, how it's going to stay and we don't care if you don't like it. How many players have quit because of the way this company has ignored these things? Unfair? I agree.

 

Completely agree with you there, the only thing you didn't mentioned is the WAR season that Kano for a reason don't want to work on, for most this is the only feature that keeps them playing, is the only fun in the whole game, without it is boring and useless to play, just look at the bounty's most of the huge bounty's placed comes from players that are in war mode, we already gave our opinions on how to get that improved, but we were told that nothing is planned for war mode changes in future...i agree that sometimes rivalry goes to extreme but as i said the only activity left that keeps this game going on is war mode, after all this is a battle game, that is what i joined not a game based on the more you spend the more you have fun, i will ask again..why you devs dont consider in improving the war mode? ..maybe because not much fp's are spent into it?...maybe some will not agree but this is the holy truth, that without the guilds that play WAR Mode, this game is dead!

Did you really expect one?? Raids are here to stay,Kano has made that clear, the damage has already been done, there is no turning back on that. So basically we have two choices, seems to me anyway, suck it up or leave.

 

Yes, I did expect one. Mitch is usually very good at responding to posts for the most part. I've already jalf left haha i don't play anywhere close to what I used to.
