Feedback Poll: Character Art Update Version 2

When I originally posed this question back in January I only had a preliminary sample to show. Now the artists have finished what will be the potential future look for the characters in Mob Wars: La Cosa Nostra. The image below is the only one we've finished and whether or not we proceed is up to this thread. Based on the art below, would you like to see the characters make the switch over to this style or stay with the current photos?



I know that there are some things players would like to do, but keep in mind this is our artists doing what artists do...make art! So please try to keep the feedback on point.

 

A couple additional points:

This is not a prelude to Outfits being released for lower level characters for Mob Wars: LCN. Those were not super popular in our trial runs so we will not be dedicating any more time to them at this point.

I do remember saying that we will look at new characters at some point early in 2015, however the Facebook API 2.0 upgrade is casting its shadow on a lot of things. Once that is complete I will put new characters at the forefront of everyone's minds.

 

I'm totally against replacing the current "real life photos" of the character with "comical art photos" as seen above.
I even go so far to say that I wouldn't have gotten as deep in this game without the real life touch that these character photos provide.

I mean look at Character Tier 4 "Boomer", that is a kick azz photo of a mobster. Now you guys want to replace this with the usual comic art. Please don't. Just keep going and don't mess up what is working so good.

 

As the hulk said, keep the "real" looking ones and don't change to this "comic art" why change something that doesn't need to be changed?

 

speaking of characters, i remember reading one of gazembers posts or might have been guardian angels about new characters coming to LCN in the new year for above 2500, is there any movement in that department?

 

make it a diferent outfit.. perfect for everyone, their choise dont you think?

 

u didnt even understand the topic. they want to replace the character pics with some lame comic art.
so its not that we will have a choice between the old and the new pics, at least as far as im concerned.

 

Have to leave LCN with some originality, don't turn it VC with comic art for characters. We already have enough comics and jokers in LCN as it is without making a element of the game the same way.

 

wonder if you know about outfits.. if not read the forums...

 

You should add the option to put a theme song on your profile i feel like this is a good way to express yourself.

 

Against the changes

 

If this brings us closer to the long waited new characters, then yes

 

Please do not proceed with this awful idea. The characters already look way cool! Why on earth would you want to change something that doesn't need changing? The only good thing about this whole "change" idea, is that at least you asked for our input/feedback; and for that, I say THANK-YOU!

 

I like things the way they are.

 

Against it as well, why change something that actually works for the game

Well now THIS might be an interesting update! Well what do you others say?

 

The artwork should look more gangster-like and less zombie-like. Zombies may be popular in the media at this current time, but this game is called "Mob Wars" and that's what the art should depict.

i dunno.... i sorta like what we have, but the picture up top is nice, too. mitch, if this is gonna give the artists something to do, let them..but if it takes away from anything else they COULD be doing to bring more content to the game, then i am against it.
