Attacked by Higher Level Player-Question

I am at level 64 but I was attacked 5 times by a level 98. I thought you only battled people of the same level? Can anyone explain better than the "help" section? I did not previously battle this person. Thanks

i can think of a couple possibilities

one is that maybe you hit them while they were listed.
another is that you pistol whipped them
another is that maybe kano made a update.

 

Thank you for responding. I have never posted a bounty nor have a posted a bounty. I also have never pistol whipped anyone. I appreciate your ideas though.

 

then most likely its the 3rd possibility that kano made a change.

 

As you advance, people from higher and lower levels can attack. I am almost level 1000 yet I have people at level 3,000+ on my fight list.

Though just this morning I attacked someone and leveled and when I went to attack again I got a message saying the person was out of my fight range.

I'd say there's a change.

I went after a bounty of a player who's level was in the 2000's. Obviously I didn't check the level before clicking :} Now, that player can do as they please as I opened the door of retaliation. However....

Right after the player did their retaliatory attacks, I had a couple more players 500+ levels above me pistol whipping me. Those players I never attacked, whipped, or listed. I was just a little shocked, and a lot PO'd as one of the whips killed me.

Being whipped by players completely out of my XP range has happened quite a few times. Oddly enough, when I've tried to whip someone off my Rival Clans list after leveling (within 1-3 lvls of them). I get the "out of XP range" message.

Still scratching my head.

 

i can whip ANY level(level 5 and higher and im level 2473 right now)i know you cant bounty anyone below level 25 even if they tried for your bounty.

i know that if you hit any player on bounty regardless of your levels,they have 24hrs to hit you as much as they want(or until they kill you,whichever comes first)being #2 rank on myspace with the #1 not hitting me cept when listed,i take full advantage of rivals i get.

 

Yup, you can whip anyone, at any time. Only once per hour though.

The player was probably on skype or posted for pistol whip help out of game.

If you try to get a bounty, you suffer what you get in return. Don't cry about getting beat down.

Well this happened to me:
I was killed by the player who is 2000+ levels higher than me and afterwards, bounty listed by the same player.

And I didn't retaliate in any way, not even with pistol whip.

I think that, this is not really fair for low level players, or is it just a bug what happened to me?

I'm level 744 and was put on the bounty by level 3100

 

see level 300 is the magic level where you can be bountied by anyone

im level 2480 and can list level 300 and higher long as i have stam and the $$ required.

by level 300,should be close to 1000 clan if not over 1000 clan already and should have decent drop items.

I see, thanks for answer. Well level 300 don't have such income than level 3000, and even with drop items, there's 2700*5 skill points difference.

 

yes i know you dont have skill points equal to a 3000.income though its possible to actually have more after upkeep since some high levels went to sea dog items which are an income killer.

 

There are a few higher level players who make it very cheap to place a bounty on them. And whats better is that they are weak defense, so even though I am half their level I always win and get good XP. Heck, there is someone almost my level who, even after 185 bounties in the last day, still only cost $40 billion. I make more than that every hour. LOL

 

thats pretty bad if a high level starts losing to those half their level.
being cheap is one thing.
being weak and cheap shows either bad playing or low capt count(which still means bad playing)

 

Well I now found at least two who are that weak. They have less clan than I have and apparently spent their points on stamina refills rather than clan. They have low defense too as they are at least level 2200 and I am not quite 1100 yet.

Funny thing is that I attack them once, maybe twice and they attack back, pistol whip, then ask their clan to help whip me. So I get to kill their clan. LMAO Then they apparently have their partners whip me and I just send messages to them.

 

well i cant say nothin since im not high up on facebook.

myspace though,only 1 thats not my clan can beat me(maybe someone in my clan would have a chance but thats it)

i did spend on stam refills a long time and realized clan was needed badly.i was top of board with only 1229 clan.now im 1999.

is there anyone on facebook with 1999?
