Good day, I just wanted to point out, that whoever is in charge of implementing or dropping the ideas, should get yelled at... I see ideas UNDER REVIEW hanging there for months and months! I can't help the feeling that Mitch is the only one being busy at Kano, or perhaps he's the only one working there in general... How long do the players have to wait, in order for their ideas to IMPROVE the actual games, to be considered? Or jut to get any feedback? It's frustrating that we - the players - have just an illusion of being important, and after all our words mean nothing. The game loses player everyday, I see my folks going away, since the game is no longer attracting, and the developers do nothing to change it. Calendars, and challenges getting boring. No changes at all. Dear Kano, start treating your players with respect and listen to them, or you might find yourselves with none. In the end, it's not always the ones that spend a lot of $$$ that matter. (this thread was not created to criticize, or blame. Just to point out/show, my/our frustration.) Love /J
The Idea forum has always caused some amount of frustration, both for myself and for you guys. The latter is something I have tried to avoid time and again but unfortunately there are certain barriers (often invisible and hard to convey) that stand between an Idea being posted here and making its way to the games. I know that once an Idea goes under review that quick feedback is appreciated however the developers at Kano are working on a lot of things (yes, actual changes and not just more Calendars). Those things take time and precedence, and while I try to bug the developers and our project manager at every available opportunity, there are many plates spinning here at Kano HQ. Now that we're in a new "quarter" (we divide our projects up into three month chunks for a variety of reasons) our project manager will get the backlogged ideas section moving again. The voice of the players is very important to myself and the rest of Kano, however much it might not seem like it at any given moment. Features change and evolve (often for the better) because of the feedback you provide. I'm personally sorry that you feel like your opinions aren't being taken into account, but this is definitely not the case. As always, I'll try to do better to keep on top of the Ideas section but please understand that there are sometimes things going on here at Kano that might delay Ideas from being reviewed or implemented that I can't spell out in detail.
Thank you Mitch, for this reply. It soothes me, that we have such amazing community manager. Hopefully the rest of the crew will follow your example And no doubt that the devs at Kano are busy, but I mean, how busy can they be? I haven't seen a bigger change in LCN for a while now. I just hope, it is to come soon. Thanks again, J
