TGIF! What happened this past week in Dev and Community? Player Bans March 22 - March 28 As a reminder, the following numbers are permanently frozen accounts, and don't count temporary freezes. FB: 3 KPs2: 6 The majority of permanently frozen accounts are frozen for being a shared or alternate account. This is something we actively investigate, and we appreciate players reporting suspicious accounts to us. If you have any questions or comments about a frozen account, please direct them through Support as the Forums are not the place to discuss account freezes, because of the sensitive account information involved. New Limited Items! A new week means new Limited Items! Here’s what’s up for grabs: World Boss Homepage Reminder! Yesterday we rolled out an update where World Bosses that are available to attack will now be displayed on your homepage and on the Boss listing page. World Boss participation has been a concern over the last while (especially on Kano Play server 2) so hopefully this change will turn some of that around. Currently this notification will appear if you are level 11 and higher and have at least one Stamina. Additionally, if there are two World Bosses currently active the oldest one will be displayed. You can press the red X in the top right of the notification which will hide this reminder for the remainder of the World Boss's current life. Three-Day Spring Calendar!! Spring has sprung so here's a Three-Day Calendar! The Spring Calendar runs from today until April 7 at 10:00 am PDT. New Edinburgh Co-op Boss: Highland Warrior! The Highlands Warrior was the most feared combatant on the planet when he was alive, and death has done nothing to lessen his bloodlust. Spring Challenge! As you might recall from last week, fellow local indie game studio TinyMob Games challenged us jump into a cold body of water. Naturally we couldn’t resist, so last night the Kano team took to a man-made lake (with fish!) and leapt right on in. It's actually starting to look like spring outside here in Kanoland, although it's not what'd I'll call warm. Mi7ch, (who was "busy" with a "prior engagement" that day) tactfully edited the video above not to include any of the language or comments from us jumpers while we were in the water. A quick note about reports! Some online services have systems that automatically ban or restrict accounts if there have been lots of reports about them. Fun fact! We don't work that way. When, for example, chat messages are reported, usually either myself or the lovely Glitch review them and decide if they need to be addressed. So if your crafty plan is to get someone autobanned by reporting large numbers of their messages regardless of their content, please stop. It's a huge waste of time we would really prefer to spend resolving issues and working to improve the games as a whole. You could always balance the World Boss health so it died in a timely fashion. Almost every World Boss gets to the last day. Why am I always losing out on the good xp payout I built up over two weeks? It's normally the same people getting hundreds of attacks on it and taking all the reward. This is on Kong/AG and KP2. FB isn't much better. It didn't used to be this bad. You adjusted the health once, so I don't see why you can't do it again. It shouldn't be that difficult... Yay calendar and new boss though.
