[LCN] Sw: Refills and tokens

Discussion in 'Ideas' started by Davina DeDe Davis-Norris, Mar 5, 2014.

  1. I am a rookie in LCN as I previously played Sorority Life until it was shutdown. I sought a game that had similar interactive, action packed play that built upon teamwork. I have been playing approximately 2 months now and must say it has been extremely enjoyable. You are to be commended for creating a thrilling, action-packed interactive application.

I have also recently participated in my second Syndicate War. I love the thrill and the rush of SW but I am finding some things that I, and am sure several others, would like to see you take under consideration. These are: starting tokens, refill tokens, and gifting tokens.

At the beginning of the game, we start with 200/300 in tokens. Wondering why we do not start with full level of 300. Would like to see that increased to 300 as there are over 200+ Syndicates in the wars. That is one tap per opposing Syndicate.

Which brings me to refills meaning only 50 tokens. In the regular game when we refill, we are provided a full refill - why not provide us with 'full' refill if you will not increase the allowable number of tokens allotted per day. It is truly aggravating to have 23 tokens and tap a potential syndicate to find out you only have 5 when it is time to do in for the death blow.

Lastly, if someone is gifting or accepting tokens, the 'gift' should not count against either. While I understand the logic of no more than 4 refills per day, a gift is a gift. The gifter is purchasing tokens for another member from FP points he/she may of accumulated or purchased and should be able to gift someone else tokens without either being penalized. Perhaps allowing 2 gifting per day for 1/2 a refill or even for the current 50.

I appreciate your taking the above suggestions under consideration.

    Very respectfully,
    Divine

ALTS gifting their main accounts for one thing, so NO , Full refill is 10 FP's you want a full refill for the price in the wars?? I believe by keeping it the way it is makes it easy for even people who cannot spend anything or very little at least participate.

Sorority Life is no more, Matthew, so I don't see the harm.

To address the actual idea here, the reason the Token amount and refills are the way they are is because we went through several Beta runs of the Wars before landing on the current implementation. Token refill time has been lowered quite a bit and as Linda said, the reason there is a limit on Token refills and gifting refills is because of potential abuse by alternative accounts.

  6. No a plug for another game that game no longer exists. If anything it is a plug for MOB WARS because it offers everything I was looking for in a game I played for 5 years until the company abruptly shutdown the game for good in December.

  7. Mi7ch, thank you for taking the time to provide a reasonable answer. I forgot about people playing Alts - they did the same in the other game but that game allow for 10 (SMH) don't know who could keep up with that many different avis.

Can we at least keep our own 4 refills and maybe be allowed 1 gift? Just seems with over 200+ syndicates in the SW that is equivalent to 1.23 taps per syndicate in a 24 hour period.

Ok, ok, I am just greedy in the SW and burn through my tokens so fast trying to get the death blow lol. I am a newbie and the thrill of the kill gets to me

  8. Linda, didn't think about people using ALTs. One thing I can say about Kano, they have done an EXCELLENT job with alts/hackers unlike my previous game that is why it was shutdown. As someone who has worked IT for over 15 years there is ALWAYS a way to know who is doing what in an application or database. When you have personnel who are dedicated to their product they take the time to ensure nothing comes through that isn't suppose to -- every user has footprints.
