Proposed Change to Armada Wars - Your Thoughts?

Hey folks,

We have a quick question for you regarding one of the mechanics in the Armada Wars: should you get a reward when another Armada attacks your Armada and dies in the attempt?

Currently in the Battle Arena when another player kills themselves on you, you get the reward for the kill, however this is not the case in the Armada War where only actions taken by the Armada result in rewards.

Should you get the rewards for when another Armada kills themselves on yours? Potential downsides would be smaller Armadas intentionally killing themselves on stronger Armadas to give them War Points for little to no effort.

 

Bad idea , imagine how many players will make 1 player armada and kill themself on other bigger , i say leave it how it is now will be to much creativity for others to get easy points .

 

in all fairness i say yes ... there is some using this exploit and it's dead wrong how they are allowed to.

 

you should be able to kill yourself on another armada and they get your points. just like in the ba's i try to kill myself so the ones that were attacking me waste all the tokens/stamina on me and they get nothing.. i make it work about 75% of the time in the ba's LOL.. i love it when those big ppl waste 500 to 1000 stamina and i kill myself on some1 that has never hit me

 

I was going to say yes until I came to that last sentence. I just don't think like a cheater, most of us don't, so that didn't even occur to me. Excellent point! I'd say to leave it as-is specifically for that reason. I didn't even know a person could kamikaze themselves in the BA to benefit the person on whom they kill themselves. With all of the alt accounts, I don't think that's such a good idea, either. I agree with BitterSweet.

Like i said Mi7ch bad idea , you see already creaitivity amond players , not to say how many will start abuse this , many armada's are part of a group and you will see how the small ones will start suicide on the main ship to give those the advantage. Is fine like it is now , not sure we need a new feature that players will exploit.

 

I do not like this idea and I think it should be removed from arena as well.

 

In conclusion the answer should be no for Armada wars and changed for Battle Arena ~ thanks

I was not aware but I am relieved that when an armada eliminates themselves on another no war points are awarded. These mechanics should not be changed as there is already enough war points going out to armadas who have to cheat to win rather than win the wars or battle arena's fair and square. Alt account abuse is already rampant...please do not entice more.
