    Happy Friday, everyone!

A very short TGIF this week, but still some things to cover. Let’s get right to it.

    Midgard Sepulcher Crafting

Crafting is now out for Midgard Sepulcher, meaning this Location has been released in its entirety!

New Locations are in the works, so expect announcements on them soon.

    Viking Clan Raid Tier Update

This week we ran a little experiment on the Raid Boss in Viking Clan by removing all the tiers and just having 30 open spots (including the Raid summoner). Early results are definitely interesting and we’re looking at all facets of the data we’re getting from this.

Will this change come to other games? Who’s to say, but the Raids are coming up on their fourth year in the game so we’re thinking a lot about what we can do with them going forward. If we do decide to open up the tiers for Pirate Clan next week, we’ll let you know in advance!

If you want to join the conversation on the open Raid tier, make sure to head over here.

Is 98 frozen accounts a record for 1 week?

I don't think so, but it is certainly up there! We've cracked triple digits before.

Restrict new players from joining raids please....

"You or the target player is under the new player 60 day protection, this action is unavailable at the moment."

It is unfair when a new player is ignorant in a raid, de-pleats the raid health, & no one can get retribution against that player!

A couple things that i believe should be a high priority for things to be addressed is of course the achievements for challenges(PC, though last time i brought it up sounds like something might be changing ?) and battle drops especially with the new locations base drops making even the highest tier pointless.

Battle drops are hard to accumulate and with the current stats of them they look pretty grim. Could go more in depth about them but want to know if there are any plans in the near future for them beforehand lol.

One last thing was that a while back there was a post made about a new event in the works but has not been talked about since, has that been canned or is it still in the works? If it is in the works given the months of time since the post is it somewhat near to being in the final stages of coding and testing?

I dont think opening up 30 spots for literally anyone to join would be fun.....there will be people who will join every single raid and do very little to the raid.....or at least put like a cap on the amount a raid a person can be in at one time...

  8. to open up all tiers, I know you analyse the data, but in my imagination, that would only benefit the high level players. they can all join each others raids, get them down fast and do another. Why would anyone share raids with lower levels then, when no matter how hard they try and know the rules, they can never do as much damage as a high level player? I think that it is a very specially great thing, that all level groups have to find a way to cooperate. However, I do not have your data and I dont know what made you think this could be an awesome idea, you will have your reasons. But I am wary and hope it wont come to my game :D

You can network, I know I always send my raids to highers, mid and lower level players as I have all types in my clan, I send them my raid they send me theirs, and now I don't have to deal with a bunch of different links, and look to see if one tier is full before sending it to someone, since there are no tiers, I can just send it and they won't get "your tier is full " now :)

  10. Well, there was always the public link that you could have posted out to everyone. Tier full would be tier full. I CAN network, but if that will be the reality if those changes come... I am not so sure. There are a lot of helpers in this game, but also a lot of very selfish people. I guess it depends from which level of an account you look at this.

Public ones are always a gamble it was worse when someone could perish it, nothing has stopped selfish people from still leaving it low. I prefer private raids, and I only share public ones to my best players to keep the creeps off, lol but it has to be done quickly, keep the jobs tab open in the chat, and catch the raid as it is posted, I have networked with raids since they became a feature, which I believe is coming close to 4 years now :) But then again I have posted coop bosses to groups or privately for a lot longer.

Stop with the whining already. Opening up the raid spots to 30 regardless of level is a great idea and would be a welcome improvement. Lower levels won't be impacted because very few get invited to raids as it is now. I routinely leave my T1 spots open. They offer nothing unless they are energy heavy and heal to get their actons. If you are lower level make some friends who will let you come along for the ride or get in a synd who takes care of their own. I'm always offering the T1s the chance to join a group I made. They get to join my raids by agreeing to perform 3k actions and in return I share all top bosses with them. Lower levels are dumb because very few jump on that chance.

I agree with alot of this, my only difference, is all I expect the lowers to do in the past is the min, some would go way above that but the min was fine with me, in fact anyone wanting to do just the min is fine with me, I chose a variety of players of all levels knowing ahead what to expect of them, going public is a gamble, private invites always seems to work well for me, as it is I don't even need a full team with this new way in VC, hoping they keep this implemented in the PC raid this week :)

opening to everybody im a huge fan of since when you got an armada of most in the top tier and a couple in mid, makes it a bit discouraging to not allow all your members the capability to join a single persons raid.

  16. I might just be a T1, but up to level 3500 there are a lot of players that would get neglected now. AND I am very well able to help in a raid. I minimum do 18M damage, which is the average for a full board of 30 players, sometimes even more. I see a lot of T2 and T3 players that dont do as much damage. they do their 2000 actions and leave the rest to the others. I have seen many raids, where the T1s pulled the weight and the higher levels just sat there camping on mins. I think you can find helpers and campers on all levels.
