Is Kano playing an account on Kanoplay right now listing little levels? I say this cause when clicking the account it brings to Davy Jones page AND mouse over the name it gives some text.
This is something new we're testing on Kano Play Pirate Clan where we will be listing inactive accounts over level 300.
Currently the gate for inactive stands at 6+ months. There are also a variety of other qualifications the account has to pass, such as already having lost the max XP they can for their level so that if and when they return there's no additional punishment.

Just to clarify, the only accounts that will be subject to being auto bountied by Davy Jones are those that meet the following conditions. Level 300+ Inactive for over 6 months Because these players have been specifically targeted by Davy Jones there is no XP loss upon death, just the shame of being ousted by Davy himself.
yea but what will happen if they seen that yall placed them on the bounty list do u think they will fill out a complaint toward yall??? i am just curious i been thinking of that for awhile now...which that this is a good message to ask...
The developers made sure that these accounts wouldn't suffer too badly from being auto-hitlisted, so in the event that these players actually come back I doubt they would notice.

I will check with support but I am pretty sure we have not had a complaint in this vein just yet As mi7ch said these accounts don't really suffer from this listing. All of the associated stats for the listed player are untouched (death count, hitlist wins/losses etc) and on top of that there is no XP penalty for death. We do hope that some players will hear about when friends notice they have been listed by Davy Jones as this will drive more people to actively play the game.
You could just not let it publish in there feed, then they would never even know LOL, Problem solved before get any complaints.

well i hate to tell you this but it WILL be noticed. any idea how many players declan for the bounties? wont effect them? you just cost them clan which has a huge effect on ones game..should these players return and see there clan size shrunk down yeah it effects them..big time ...
You raise a valid point. I myself have declanned a few after they sat on the bounty list for a bit. But In the end I think its a price that is well worth paying for the health of the games. God bounties are good for the game ....if a player who has been listed by the Gods happens to come back..... I for one would be happy to accept them back and im sure others would as well. So damage incurred would be as minimal to their game as TP flushed is to trees in the forest.
why don't you shorten the 6 months period to 3 months, in which the bounty button will pop-up every 2-3 mins. I do believe that 3 months consider you inactive! especially since you said
