How is that exactly calculated in the game? Anyone know? I have this pirate whom I can beat outright in battles, and according to the fight summary I am stronger than him in personal items (cagematch I would assume) yet he always beats me in cage matching. It is annoying because he's one of these hit and run pirates, he comes on and cagematches you like seven or eight times before you get the first notification, then hides behind his low health. I'm not all that much into cage matching but I've tried arming myself with the highest defensive weapons on the market, I thought that would work, but no dice. His weapons are a Dadao Sword, Super Stinkpots, Pirate Brawler and a Greek Galliot. I have a Grania O' Malley's wedding ring, Jean La Fitte's Obsidian Skull, Jean La Fitte's matey's and a Zheng Zhilong's Junk.
Attack / Defense skill points also are included. If he has higher Attack points than you Defense points, and the difference is greater than your weapons vs his weapons, he'll win.
yes cage matches include your base atk and armed weapons.and obviously when hit includes your def and armed weapons. just cause you can beat someone outright in a battle dont mean your gonna win a cage. love cages though.
cagematches are a godsend to me in this game. They are my only chance of ever hitting the players in my range who spent big time buying clan well above and beyond their level and thus making themselves invincible to the vast majority of players in a regular battle. The cage matches allow the game to still be competitive at the higher levels if one does not wish to spend money (or not want to spend very much) on a credit card to buy clan. Now we need to get something similar to cagematches on Vikings, come on!
Cagematches. Yeah, high personal def is the only defense there. Arm strong defensive items, too, to give you another edge. While I overall dislike the feature, cages are useful if you have rather high clan and your rivals are all small. Cages will bring better XP then. Best I had: 2 xp from battle, 22 xp from a cage. Same player.
yeah and thats a problem since cages are now limited if cages are limited and arent meant as a alternative to reg battles then cages should NOT give better exp than a reg battle on hi5 i was caging my fight list cause of the better exp
