the flaw that i found is that it doesnt count any of the skill points you put into energy or stamina and i have almost put 6000 into stam but in the arena get nothing for it and energy spent 2000 points so. i think that there should be a change so that you can at least get to use those points instead of basicly have them wasted for the arena
Already mentioned energy and stam won't have any benefit. Stamina though you need for attacks so theres your benefit...the more stam the better. Energy has ZERO use in the arena as was mentioned by Eric. IF anything, tweak it so energy isn't counted. Stamina though leave that alone as you need stam to attack. 5 stars for agreeing with part of it. EDIT:Was tired when reading this. Since it was clearly mentioned by Eric that energy and stam have 0 effect in arena,1 star.
He he No they are not wasted ! They count in the total skill points allocated witch means you get less % in att, def and health. LMAO
scence this was alredy mentiond i am goin to delete it and read the other one but ill have to delete it later cus im about to leave for the day
Been discussed at great length before the arena even started and I feel the same now as I did then....the difference being that I really dont feel anything needs to be changed with it at this point. There is a definite bias against higher level players as they tend to rely more heavily on stamina due to the increased need for XP to level. With Stamina costing 2 SP per ....the higher levels over all percentage of SP tends to be stamina heavily which in return takes away from all other attributes that are used to determine a players perc numbers. The amount of stamina one has does have its advantages but really shouldnt be part of the equation as it can be purchased.... So whether you have 7750 stamina or 200 stamina u can still play as long as the other as long as your willing to pony up the cash Technically some body with far less stamina and a big wad of cash could have much better arena numbers than someone with huge stamina. With all that said....Most higher levels have inherent advantages that really make all this a non issue other than a few extreme examples where certain accounts were built a certain way for long periods only to have Kano change the rules on them half way through the race. Which is unfortunate but no reason to switch it all around now. At one point the developer of the arena did agree and they actually said they were going to somehow work stamina into the health perk I think it was ....not sure what happened with that.
Yep,Dark did say something about that. Probably was pulled last minute. Since stam itself is a perk. Can't attack without it.
I still see as having high stamina as an advantage. Hell its almost the only way to make it if you are a lower level in the game. Energy does not count against you. I will quote. Perks: There are 3 perks available which will give you health, attack and defensive advantages. When referring to % of total skills, energy is excluded. I would not be upset to see that stamina is not a factor either, but being that it does give you an advantage in the arena, I can see why it is figured in. Not voting this, just giving my opinion.
I would definitely like some clarification from Kano on the SP being allocated to energy being totally excluded from the entire formula. I totally understand not getting or needing a perc for energy but it can definitely make a huge difference in ones percs as its supposed to be a based on ones overall percentage of ones SP allocation. If someone had either very low or high energy....it could def skew the other numbers As far as Stamina goes....It does have an advantage but a different kind of advantage....the more u have the less u will have to spend in refills, thats an advantage that can be overcome monetarily. It offers no advantage as far as winning or losing. In fact it offers a very large disadvantage that can and does have an outright effect on some if not most outcomes (especially for the higher levels. Stamina is figured into the overall percentage of Skill point allocation which is where ones perc numbers are derived. If a player has Uber high stamina...every other perc number will suffer because of it. Considering the game dictates that a players of a higher level have much more need for stamina (XP needed to level doubles etc etc) to level, the game itself is putting some players at very large disadvantage that can directly affect the outcome of a battle, its rewards, and damage dealt which in return could actually cost a player more stamina to do the same thing that they might have needed otherwise.
