With the numbers dropping in how many people actually play the arena, how about easing the level restriction a bit. Yes I know alot of people will say No Way as it gives more easy kills but anyone who truly plays the arenas knows that people will go after a higher reward than a lower one first. Who wants to drop 100 stamina on a 50 mill reward when you can drop 250 on a 150-200 mill reward. I'm not saying drop it down to level or basically removing it but maybe down to 500. The arenas are all about who you know anyways and less about how you play them. Yes I know there are changes coming and with those I hope this takes place as well as i didnt see anything regarding a level restriction change.
I like the level restriction, as there are people that have the stamina to waste on lower rewards. They are also well over level 5,000 and their stats alone make it to where they would receive almost no damage from an attacker at level 500 or below.
well when i play for the long haul and spend my fps, i go for the easy kills more than the others actually...use little stam, lose next to no health at all so its a plus for me no matter how you look at it...even if it gets sniped i hardly lose out so its basically a win win situation for me....bring all the lowers in i say, more easy health for me when i want it
they need an arena for the lowers....it would give the newer players alot more to do and help them get to the bigger arena and prepare them for it as well....kinda like a minor league for all games
I thought it was even discussed at one time about having a lower level arena but never seen it advance. Right now with the restrictions all anyone under level 660 can do during arenas is watch the higher levels level faster while they continue to look at their fightlist vanishing after a few attacks.
And with the new structure being discussed for BA as being more point based and not health based, it would make more sense to remove the restriction as well since you wont get as many points for killing a lower level
agreed, the #'s continue to drop so something needs to be done... i bet quite a few would like the opportunity to play...
I mean even if they dont last long at least they have a chance to get some xp out of it and who knows. I mean I won an arena in my 700s so dont rule out a lower level being able to sneak by if played right
Minor Leagues and Major Leagues...that is something to ponder on...it would keep things pretty fair and equal...Win in the Minor BA you get to participate a round in the Major BA...
That would be interesting say level 250 to 749 Bronze Arena Level 750 to 1249 Silver Arena Level 1250+ Gold Arena Have varying Rewards depending on Arena a person is and with this you don't have to worry about a level 3000 crushing a level 300 as well. Gold Arena can have higher stakes and maybe even a Crate reward or the like.
In theory level doesn't matter so much in the arena as it's based on percentages of skills instead of accumulated skills. However, that being said of course it costs less for the higher stam folks to play so in theory easier for a high level to win. But this is intriguing. The whole win brackets on your way up to the elite BA. Interesting concept. I think that is somewhat what they are considering except it's not based on levels. just with the loser bracket thing. Time will tell I suppose. I know they want the arena to last long but for me it's already massive clicking so that isn't so appealing to me. I'd rather it last longer because that many are playing instead of an artificial prolonging. But that's just my 2 cents worth and that and 4.95 will get you a small coffee....at mcdonalds....with a coupon I do like the idea of arena rounds instead of all out. That could be fun. But wouldn't that only let the ones who always win have more chances to level as is the common complaint? (for the record I think that's a bunch of huey, again if you want to be b@d@$$ get b@d@$$ squad. And while you are at it, spend the stamina and built the character, but what do i know) Maybe we could do a quarterly Arena championship? The top 5 or 10 of each arena get to enter? That'd be a neat component. Combined with a "practice" arena of sorts for those not large enough to enter the normal arena (Although I still see no reason they can't join. It doesn't hurt their account any to join. So why not let them get the feel for it and the levels for it)
This might be good for every game and platform except for KP2 Pirates. The same armada has had the top 10 spots in every arena for at least a year now, so they will always be in any "championship". It might work for the other games and platforms, though. P. S. Kano does NOT want the arenas to last long. This is clear based on the changes that were made to them a year or so ago.
They say the same about KP2 ZS. I think that is just the nature of playing on KP. although I've heard rumblings of the same on FB. I like the shorter events myself. I'd much rather have them more often with less duration. Keeps it moving and exciting without the beat down of scheduling your life around them That being said. Those that control the leaderboards and arena's and FW's are doing so because they've built good accounts with good squad and are often willing to spend for the stamina. I can't in good conscious say they don't deserve it if they do it. Yeah it gets tiresome watching the same folks win but they are on top for a reason.
Maybe. But it's interesting that the leaders are not the same on each game in KP2. Wouldn't you try to be one of the best in all of the games, and not just one, if you know how to build good accounts and spend?
The last Battle Arena on Viking Clan Server 1 lasted for about 24 hrs because the last two players were proving a point. @Jared, why not build one really good account then branch to the other games? I have a cash cow in ZS and Pirates because I am not active and just building empire. I got active recently on KPs2 (Thank you very much Kano) and would love the opportunity to see how I am leveling compared to the other people around my level. Whether or not it is strong or needs improvement, the BA provides that in a safe manner without retaliation.
