Boss Owners cannot be "benched", but the XP will be reduced every time the Raid wipes.
Re-do the Jobs in the Locations listed, the highest Energy requirement job has the greatest chance of dropping a Key.
The Boss's Attack strength doesn't affect the damage you are doing to it either, so I don't think that is a factor in what you are seeing. There...
