reward items equal for all

Dont take me wrong here...I like reward items and most if not all get used in my inventory in all my diff games. What i dont like is the diff in impact a reward item can have from one account to the next. It seems a bit outta whack that a reward item can be much more beneficial to some than others. Depending on ones level, time played or items purchased a reward item for some might very well be a significant item that finds its way into ones load out where as for others the same reward item may get used but has far less impact as it is much further down the inventory list. Shouldn't we all be rewarded equally... or perhaps based on performance, tenure or contribution?

The latest newsletter and every other newsletter or calender reward gives the same items with the same numbers in their respective games. In some of my games these items are good enough to make my load out where as in others they dont even come close. Load outs can make a big and immediate diff in the results of a battle or even our numbers in an arena....why should some benefit so much more than others? In essence reward items potentially pay higher dividends for those that have played for a shorter period, dont play nearly as often or purchased fewer limited items.

Seems to me that reward items and their numbers should be equally beneficial to all. Perhaps the items and their numbers should should be individually more inline with what they already have in their inventory. Either have the items be slightly better than each individuals best item or have the items numbers based on an an average of each players best 10 items or so.

what happened to fairness to all? it's fine the way it is so I have to respectfully disagree with you on this one ...

I have to agree with Ben also. The items benefit your game style of building. While someone with all defense will always pick the reward items with higher def then attack or someone with all attack will pick the attack one. Or the balanced players pick the even out ones it all works itself in the end if you keep working at it. Eventually it does come down to skill points once all said items are caught up to the same player your trying to catch no matter which way the build is. Been all different types of builds in games and have seen this happen.

I understand the question....but how does it apply to my post? Fairness for all is exactly what Im going for , the way it currently is its about as far from fair as it gets. Would you care to elaborate as to why u think my suggestion would be unfair?

Btw..it sounds and looks as if your doing much better. Glad to to see/read it.

i see what you are trying to say and i agree. ill try to explain it for everyone that isnt understanding-

polish is asking if you guys think the items should be more fair meaning this-

the more time you put in/higher level you are the item should basicly be scaled to you instead of a basic item that is the same for everyone. just have the stats of the item be scaled to you to make it so that the item could be more usefull to the vast majority rather then the lower levels that might need it because they didnt buy any limited items either because they were azy or they just dont think it was necessary but whatever the case it doesnt matter. and this doesnt mean that the item would grow with you as you gain levels/ play longer. it means the moment you accept the item it would be scaled to be more usefull to you at the time. so ya you would outgrow the item eventually. and this also doesnt meen the item is going to be overpowered and have lets say 600 attack for a gun, no that would just be rediculous and stupid IMO. unless the limited items get that strong then i would be for it

i think its fine the way it is....the reward for me is the stamina refill, the free item which doesnt get used in my loadout but is in my used weapons list is just a fringe benefit. the higher you are, the stronger you are and the more options you have available to you to continue to make yourself stronger. the effect of a crappy limited item given to a lower level wont be noticed by ANYONE thats much higher so i dont see the problem here. you polish, you can gain a crap load of drops from your higher level bosses and gain much more strength than ANY lower level would or even could if given the same opportunity to hit that boss till its dead. that little limited item wont make or break ANY acct on these games and is just a cool freebie from kano and they should be thanked for it, not picked apart and over-analyzed like they are with most things...it is what it is like alot of the things in this game that many disagree on.

hey John...long time hearing from ya, I hope all is well.

Not sure if Im misunderstanding you or if your misunderstanding me but I think we must be talking about 2 diff things. Reward items one gets from things such as newsletters or calendars are the same for everyone and as far as i can remember Ive never had a choice between an attack, defense or balanced items.

Take the latest reward item given out in the latest newsletter for VC as an example......

Hybrid Armor attack 109 def 214

For many players this may be one of the better if not the best defensive item in their inventory...perhaps even the best in their load out. For a player such as myself, probably you and any other player thats played for a substantial amount of time or purchased any number of limited items...its doesnt even come close to being one of the better items.

While having a choice between an att, def or balanced item would be nice for those players that built their account one way rather than another it still wouldnt address what Im actually talking about.

While of the utmost importance not everything boils down to skill points nor do they necessarily balance anything out. Per the examples given in my original post....load outs can have a big impact regardless of skill point allocation. In battles ones "armed weapons"(load out) is its own category which carries a percentage towards determining the result of a battle whether being attacked or doing the attacking. Skill point allocation has nothing to do with this category.

Arguably even a bigger impact that has nothing to do with skill points can be found in the battle arena where ones load out can make a huge difference all by itself especially when it comes to how much time one has in defensive stance. A single item in ones load out can make a significant differance and what ever an opposing player has or does has zero bearing on this at all.

Basically.... currently we all have to do the exact same thing to get the exact same reward item whether it be via a newsletter or a calendar. The only differance being the impact on ones game it may or may not have. If player (A)gets a reward item that is good enough to be in their load out it can /will have an immediate and obvious positive impact on their game whether its the form of of winning the "personal weapons" category in battle or whether it adds 20 minutes to their def. stance in the arena. Compare that to player (B) who gets the exact same reward item for doing the same thing yet its far down their inventory list and has minimal if any benefit at all in the same categories.

For the most part the nature of these games is for things to increase exponentially as we rise in levels or add to certain attributes. Why wouldnt rewards as well? Isnt that one of the reasons why many of us on occasion are up here in the forums asking Kano to update the numbers on loyalty items and outdated limited items? To be fair since were all doing the exact same thing to earn these reward items shouldnt we all receive the same potential benefit? What im asking for is equality .....its not as if Im asking for something more than anyone else is getting for doing the same thing.

I understood you polish. But the fact still remains reward items favor point items and so on not everyone is always going to get them all the time. Take the 3 day calender for example everyone has the chance to get all 3 items but they don't always get them because of something happening in their life. So would it be fair for those players who didn't get them to be evened out with those players that did achieve all three. Nope i don't think that would be fair for the ones who completed them. The best solution is leave it the way it is. If you want to get that extra step on someone purchase some more or craft some more to overcome them. I have had to do this many times with players i have wanted to get at. Once i do get near them and beat them they take off like a rocket again from me and hide behind 1000s of levels. With newer items. So i do see your point about items not being balanced. Kano needs to take a step back and offer more besides rewards favor points. How many players in this game that do arena and wars have built up a big surplus of items from battle that are out of date. Ask kano to open up elite and legendary items only for these battle drops and if your hardcore enough to always be in those arenas and wars you might just get a good boost to your character. And not one person can complain because wars and arena is open to everyone after that level 600 or 700

exactly my point jon, the higher levels have so much more available to them to beef up with so i dont see the point in this thread...i understand the concept but it doesnt make sense to give higher levels more than lowers. everyone gets the same thing, that sounds fair to me
