I've seen this for awhile, but thought it's time to get addressed. I just reached level 7550 to get a Thrym Boss Now, I have to reach level 8500 to elite a "Random Boss drop" don't even use? You got to be kidding me if don't know how the game works! By the time hit that level, I won't use that either. Play the game and understand it before setting limits. I guess my main tiff here is to dial back level for crafting on all bosses ~1K plus levels. This is not the 1st time this has happened to me, and bet others will agree as well. My lowest weapon is 81/84 ATTACK, 84/81 DEFENSE Now try to explain to me how a newest boss, I thought would help me=basically doesn't giving a random drop of And have to wait 950 level's to even use "X" item Show's how much you know "your" game. Sorry for the rant but it's just dumb! EDIT: Move crafting of elites/legendary to level of the boss, if we chose to do so.
youll be using the elites by the time you get there man, i know your frustration but i just load up on the drops anyway waiting for them to become lethal legendary like all my weapon boss drops
The point is Demonik, they DEV'S are far behind the players on "EVERY" level. This was just a example, now if you would like to wait 950 levels (for a useless item) at 226560 exp per level, feel free to comment, for a new "BOSS" dev's fail IMO and sticking to it.
i knew what the point was and i agree but its been brought up quite a few times and i dont see it changing any time soon if ever so i just deal with it and do what i can with whats available to me
I know, sorry DEMOMIK was just little pissy last night when noticed it. Guess I'll see elite Chopblades in roughly a year, and be obsolete by then with new bosses. LOL But it's going to get worse for new players having ability to hit other high level bosses, why I mainly brought it up. Easier to fix now then later, I think. But oh well.
I'm with Demonik on this. I look ahead in the blacksmith to see when an upgrade is due and then hoard those items. You have to guess whether you think the upgrade is to your advantage or not and you don't know until you have tried just one and compared your stats before and after upgrading just one item. It is then great if you upgrade several thousand that you have saved and increase your battle stats by several hundred thousand. I find that motivational rather than demotivational.
no worries matt, everybody gets a little pissy haha i was mainly making a suggestion to you than anything else....i get just as frustrated as you, probly more lol but in the end it is what it is and i doubt theyll go thru the bosses already in place and raise the numbers of the drops so i just deal with the crap they give us
see? he gets it ;p and i doubt it will take you a year to start eliting those drops, maybe a few months or so
I think that one important area to do with this is the gift list. I know a lot of people just randomly accept gifts of whatever item happens to take their fancy at the time. The gift list is actually a vital part of some of the upgrades in the blacksmith. Why waste all those vital ingredient gaining opportunities by just having some dumb fun thing that has no purpose as yet, like ear muffs for instance. That is why Kano removed a lot of stuff a while back because not only was the gift list getting clogged up with useless cr*p (even releasing more every month at one point) but it was diluting the point of the gift list in the first place. You have to work out whether a gift is worth having or not. The only way to do that is look ahead in the blacksmith as I said in an earlier post and see what you will need in the future to upgrade things with. Then when you get to the right level, if you have been hoarding the drops and the relevant gifts for the upgrade, you can make a killing on arrival with a massive upgrade. Otherwise you just discover that you need of lot of some vital ingredient that you have not been bothering to collect all this time so now you cannot upgrade much because you have to ask people to send you the missing ingredient by adjusting your gift list. So why not do that in advance before you get there. The only weakness is that you cannot tell in advance if a supposed upgrade is beneficial to you or not until you get there, but at least you are ready for it because of all the stuff you have deliberately collected.
well thats another thing the forum is good for, asking what the numbers are of certain blacksmith items youre getting close to unlocking or almost close haha i have a good enough clan so that i dont really run into gifting problems like you mentioned...i could have zero of an item i need and add it to my wishlist and in a few days have over 200 of them....as you get higher up you begin to realize that all the expensive crafting is kinda pointless, boss drops are the real key to strength
Guess others LVL faster, but at 4 level's a day (top's) = 226 days I'll be there if around still, LOL.
you dont play the arenas? 3 day calendars? im sure on the average day thats what you get but with 2 3 days a month and 3 arenas per month im sure youll get there faster than that...i average about the same but youve got to factor in the extras as well bud...those extras will cut out about 60 of those days making it what i originally said...about 3 months or so
I agree, especially the three day calendars. I think that going up three levels if you can afford to click a lot (have the computer open whilst you are living your real life and just click every now and then) is really worth it. I have even spent 2-3 FP's if I am only a couple of keys short of finishing and going up a level. You get a level as well as all the other rewards. I do at least one level minimum even if I can't afford the time to do the full three levels. All it costs you is going back and completing an Odin's Challenge card game to get those FPs back anyway.
you want to REALLY get a jump in levels then find an arena leveling partner....you can hit the crap out of each other after building up a decent amount of health...hit him in dmode till youre kinda low then let him or her do the same...a lot of levels AND good battle drops as well
a bit off topic but in the same zone...Legendary Swingblades 115 Attack 115 Defense....what a rip, elite numbers are 100/100...by the time you can craft them youre only gaining 15/15....what kind of logic did the devs use for this?
I was just looking level 8k is elite healer clerics LOL, "as if going to elite" those are 64/64 warrior to begin with, and I need to wait 8500 level for elite chopblades which I don't use. It's just funny, NOT. Don't think any rhyme or reason DEMONIK on that either.
you must not have much stamina im thinking...im about 2 weeks away from eliting my healer clerics and i just hit 8060...i have just under 10k of them and around 3300 warriors of equal strength from crafting, elite timekeepers etc...ive been beating the crap outta the bifrost boss haha
LVL 7613- 3612 healer clerics, 630 elite time keepers, 3,974 damned elven queens, 2,821 blacksmiths, and few other misc. 64/64's
man, i wish there that many bosses to hit over on server 2 haha you have about 2k more 64/64 warriors than i do not counting th clerics...id be crafting them right now if there were
